Shownotes

Alysia Raftery is an Australian Naturopath and Myotherapist passionate about women’s hormones and hormonal weight gain. She has a family history of thyroid issues, and after her third child, her thyroid symptoms were crazy - things like brain fog, finding it hard to finish a sentence, and constant bloating. Testing revealed that she had SIBO, which Alysia discovered was caused by cellular hypothyroidism. Since then, Alysia has been on a mission to get the message out that symptoms are not in your head, and there is help for this.

In this episode, we talk about common symptoms of hypothyroidism, why getting a full thyroid panel is essential, what different thyroid markers mean, cellular hypothyroidism, the connection between cellular hypothyroidism and SIBO, how you can start healing your thyroid, and so much more!
