Since they were first published in 1548, St. Ignatius Loyola's Spiritual Exercises have been helping people across the world deepen their relationship with Christ. A compilation of prayers, meditations and contemplative practices, the exercises are known for engaging the imagination and challenging believers to stretch themselves spirituality. George Matysek speaks with Jesuit Father Stephen Spahn, a theology professor at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, about the Spiritual Exercises and the man behind them.
