Hi, this is Stephanie Maas, partner with Thinking Ahead Executive Search.
Speaker:
This is one of my favorite holidays of the year, Thanksgiving.
Speaker:
I love Thanksgiving.
Speaker:
I mean, let's be honest, what's not to like?
Speaker:
The food is phenomenal.
Speaker:
I tend to partake in adult beverages, probably a little bit more than I normally do.
Speaker:
Quality time with the ones that you love the most.
Speaker:
I love a good afternoon football game in the cold, crisp air after you just had a huge Thanksgiving dinner and it's way too much.
Speaker:
I love sitting around in lounge pants for the next three days as I try and work through all that food that I just ate.
Speaker:
It's an amazing time of the year.
Speaker:
But of course, my favorite reason for this time of the year is because of the focus, the focus on being thankful and grateful.
Speaker:
And I will tell you, and anyone that knows me hopefully could say the same thing.
Speaker:
I am incredibly thankful.
Speaker:
I have an amazing family.
Speaker:
I have amazing career.
Speaker:
The people I get to work with.
Speaker:
I'm incredibly thankful for you.
Speaker:
I'm thankful for the folks who say, Hey, I never take cold calls, but I'll take yours anyway.
Speaker:
I'm thankful for those that say, Hey, your approach stunk.
Speaker:
You need to try this and do better.
Speaker:
Of course, I'm thankful for the clients who say, Yeah, we'll partner with you on our next search.
Speaker:
I'm thankful for the candidates who say, I'll trust you with my next move.
Speaker:
So this Thanksgiving.
Speaker:
Thank you.
Speaker:
I sincerely appreciate being in business with you.
Speaker:
So as I think about going into Thanksgiving, again, I'm excited for all the things I always am and as I sit around after I've eaten too much and probably drank a little bit too much too, I am going to reflect and I'm going to talk about how thankful I am for my people and I hope you get the same opportunity.
