Welcome to 100 days of Happy - 100 ways to include Happy practices in your life.

These are short podcast episodes - aiming for between 7 - 10 minutes where I explore was to build positivity and energy into your day.

Day 5 - Happy To Receive

The art of receiving. If you're a sharer. A helper, a server. I'm imagining that receiving is one of the toughest things for you. You'd like to support other people, but you find it really difficult to receive that support.

Open up to receiving that which you desire.

This is the step five in a 5 step 'reset' exercise that I practice every morning. I bring it together as a full, longer exercise on day 6.

Community and Connection

My belief is that we win when we are compassionate, connecting and communicating unconditionally. When we are building a community of like-minded souls supporting each other through the dark days.

Be kind to those around you. They are living their own version of reality. If you want to be in conflict ensure it's aimed in the right direction. Be the example, by rejecting separation and embracing all, no matter where they are on their journey. Be the light, the example others want to follow.

Today's podcast is the final parts of the meditation.

We're on day five, choosing to receive.

Speaker:

I'm Heather masters, and this is the choosing happy podcast.

Welcome to the choosing happy podcast this morning, we're talking about receiving.

Speaker:

And the first thing I'm going to share is the real big secret.

Speaker:

About receiving.

Speaker:

And that is you can't receive without being in a state of appreciation.

Speaker:

It's only when you're open-hearted and an estate of appreciation

Speaker:

that you can allow in.

Speaker:

All that UVN for.

Speaker:

And it's because you're not yearning.

Speaker:

There's no wanting to control something.

Speaker:

There's no fear of not having, you're not in a state of luck because when

Speaker:

you're in appreciation, you're in a state of abundance, you're in a state

Speaker:

of bliss of thankfulness of gratitude.

Speaker:

And that allows in everything that you could wish for everything that's

Speaker:

for your highest good at that time.

Speaker:

That's my belief anyway.

Speaker:

Let's get started this morning.

Speaker:

Again, we're going to take three deep breaths in just again, to relax states.

Speaker:

On the full day tomorrow, the whole meditation.

Speaker:

We'd be in a relaxed state.

Speaker:

We'd be in that state of allowing by now.

Speaker:

The receiving comes naturally after allowing.

Speaker:

We're going to spend a little bit of time just appreciating and then we'll receive.

Speaker:

To start with, if you want to take a deep breath in.

Speaker:

And out.

Speaker:

Another deep breath in remembering to follow the breath into your

Speaker:

body, into your app Dunham.

Speaker:

Be aware of your body.

Speaker:

And.

Speaker:

Last time in.

Speaker:

And.

Speaker:

And was your eyes closed?

Speaker:

Remembering that.

Speaker:

You're not using any machinery that you're in a safe place.

Speaker:

You're coming into your body and grounding yourself and being aware

Speaker:

of how you feel energetically in how physically you feel on your body.

Speaker:

Scan your body quickly.

Speaker:

Relaxing.

Speaker:

Each part of your body and coming into the awareness of how you feel.

Speaker:

Notice the relaxation flowing from the top of your head.

Speaker:

Down to your toes.

Speaker:

Take a minute to do that.

Speaker:

Just to relax.

Speaker:

And when you're relaxed, I want you to take your awareness

Speaker:

to your heart, to that.

Speaker:

Beautiful ha.

Speaker:

Yours.

Speaker:

And just to shine.

Speaker:

The light of sauce and love.

Speaker:

Onto your heart.

Speaker:

And imagine it opening up.

Speaker:

And revealing love.

Speaker:

Compassion.

Speaker:

And sit in the energy of open-heartedness now.

Speaker:

I want you to think of.

Speaker:

Five things that you truly love.

Speaker:

And appreciate.

Speaker:

Five things you have in your life.

Speaker:

It doesn't have to be anything big it's, whatever it is that you truly appreciate.

Speaker:

After having five days without electricity.

Speaker:

Um, truly appreciating the warm.

Speaker:

Of the heating this morning.

Speaker:

My hot coffee.

Speaker:

I'm not really.

Speaker:

Uh, feeling absolute appreciation.

Speaker:

Right now in this moment.

Speaker:

And we'll let that feeling of appreciation.

Speaker:

Feel your body feel your aura, fill your energy.

Speaker:

You can think of a person you love.

Speaker:

Think of maybe something you get to do today.

Speaker:

Just fill yourself with appreciation.

Speaker:

I want you to think of two things.

Speaker:

That.

Speaker:

You would like to receive.

Speaker:

Whether it's a new relationship.

Speaker:

Whether it's money.

Speaker:

Abundance.

Speaker:

Whether it's just a surprise gift.

Speaker:

Or even a phone call.

Speaker:

With a close friend or family.

Speaker:

Choose one of them.

Speaker:

Imagine.

Speaker:

How you feel when you receive that.

Speaker:

How appreciative you would be.

Speaker:

What's the ultimate feeling.

Speaker:

That that's going to give you.

Speaker:

For instance money.

Speaker:

Is that going to give you a feeling of security?

Speaker:

And what does abundance mean to you?

Speaker:

What's it going to allow you to feel.

Speaker:

And Steph into that feeling.

Speaker:

If appreciation and if it's money, for instance, security and just.

Speaker:

Feel it.

Speaker:

And with your heart open.

Speaker:

Imagine.

Speaker:

Whatever it is.

Speaker:

You've chosen, flowing to you.

Speaker:

And into your life.

Speaker:

And you've been open to receive.

Speaker:

Allowing it.

Speaker:

It's just a silent moment.

Speaker:

Your minds quiets and you're just focusing on appreciating.

Speaker:

That gift coming T now.

Speaker:

Really get into the feeling.

Speaker:

What it is to have that.

Speaker:

And then moved to the second day to.

Speaker:

Just focus on that and notice what it is.

Speaker:

What's the real feeling that you'll have when you receive it.

Speaker:

Is it love.

Speaker:

Is it security?

Speaker:

Is it safety?

Speaker:

It's a ceiling of thriving.

Speaker:

A liveliness.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Whatever it is.

Speaker:

Just focus on that feeling.

Speaker:

Feel it in your body, open your heart.

Speaker:

And allow it to flow throughout your body, into your aura.

Speaker:

Uh, mixed you for appreciation and whatever this feeling is.

Speaker:

And then imagine.

Speaker:

That gift flowing to you.

Speaker:

Like it's arriving on a conveyor belt of silver light from the

Speaker:

universe and it's flowing to you.

Speaker:

And into your world.

Speaker:

And imagine that you have it now.

Speaker:

Really.

Speaker:

Ramp up that feeling of appreciation.

Speaker:

And whatever feeling.

Speaker:

It gives you for having it.

Speaker:

And then sit.

Speaker:

For a moment, just an appreciation.

Speaker:

Feeling love and appreciation flow from your heart.

Speaker:

Into your energy field, into the room, into your home.

Speaker:

Into your life.

Speaker:

Appreciation for being alive.

Speaker:

For being in this moment.

Speaker:

I could join hug.

Speaker:

Like a big blanket wrapping around you.

Speaker:

This love appreciation.

Speaker:

For what is.

Speaker:

Ask the universe.

Speaker:

To surprise you today with something joyful and unexpected.

Speaker:

A gift.

Speaker:

It knows will benefit yet.

Speaker:

For your highest good.

Speaker:

Sit with this feeling for as long as you like.

Speaker:

The longer you sit.

Speaker:

The more open you are to receive.

Speaker:

Allow.

Speaker:

Now I'm going to count from one to five.

Speaker:

When I reach five, you can feel so wide awake and healthy.

Speaker:

Energized feeling better.

Speaker:

Than before.

Speaker:

One.

Speaker:

Too.

Speaker:

Waking up slowly.

Speaker:

Three.

Speaker:

When you reach five, you'll feel energized like healthy and better than before.

Speaker:

Full.

Speaker:

Five open your eyes.

Speaker:

Feeling healthier.

Speaker:

Wide awake.

Speaker:

Um, better.

Speaker:

Um, before.

Speaker:
