Shownotes

Frederick Douglass was born into slavery with nothing and soon rose to prominence as a liberator of his fellow slaves. His speeches, writings, and activism caused many to question the meaning of slavery itself. In this week's episode we talk about his first autobiography, his first 27 years in his own words, and his path from chains to freedom.
