Florida is its own diverse landscape. Boasting millions of acres of public land the state of florida ranks number 14 out of 50 states for public land access. Florida’s public land encompases a wide variety of landscapes from the seemingly never ending swamps of the everglades, the endless pine and palmetto flats of the Ocala national forest to the hardwoods of Point Washington wildlife management area. Lest we forget the expansive waterways that make up the salt marshes along the gulf of Mexico the deep mighty waters of the St. Johns river and the secluded steep banks of the Suwannee, Florida has something to offer everyone who seeks to step off the beaten path and into the wilderness. A place where you can hunt animals that you couldn't find anywhere else from the Osceola turkey to alligators to Sambar deer to the ever common whitetail. This week we are joined by Hunter Rotarius of Florida Boy Outfitters to talk about not just hunting in Florida but how he manages to get it on film for everyone to enjoy.
