Lucy Meredith is self-employed and a professional mermaid, teaching mermaid classes at Bramley Baths (she also has a background in synchronised swimming). Lucy’s work is in the arts and she is self-employed, so she has many different jobs, her main one being as Co-director of Yorkshire Life Aquatic CIC (YLA), an arts & wellbeing organisation.

Yorkshire Life Aquatic CIC run community performance projects and have a comedy physical theatre show that they perform at festivals. Lucy’s acts as YLA’s co-director, project manager, performer, choreographer.... and the list goes on.

Lucy also does freelance acting work, works for 2 local Climate charities and a Community led Housing organisation. All Lucy’s roles are part time and in the 3rd sector. Lucy’s roles for these organisations are based around comms, events and social media.
