David seems to be in cahoots with the Philistines, raiding and looting in the name of Achish, all the while taking out Israel's enemies. Meanwhile, Saul banishes witches and wizards from his kingdom, only to realize he needed help from someone with "a familiar spirit" to help belay his concerns over the outcome of Israel's battle against the Philistines.
