Shownotes

If you’re a writer or if writing is something you want to do better, then this episode is for you. I welcome Ashley Doan to the show who shares the funny story how she got her WriterGal name and you’ll learn the benefits of having a blog whether you want one professionally or just for fun.

GUEST BIO:

Ashley is a crafty gal, a baking gal, a world travelling gal, a movie-loving gal, a family gal, and also the WriterGal of WriterGal Marketing Services (writergal.ca). She’s been a copywriter and online marketing consultant since 2006 and along the way became a Jane-of-all-Trades in the writing and marketing space. One of the things she loves about her career is the variety it brings. She might be writing a blog for a local small business on Monday, updating website content for another client on Tuesday, copyediting a colleagues book on Wednesday, creating graphics for an online Facebook ad on Thursday, and drafting the next month of social media posts for 5 different clients on Friday. Her job aside, Ashley is first and foremost a wife to an amazing husband, mother of 2 toddlers and a Jack Russell Terrier named “Bones.” She also enjoys crafting (all types...especially if it comes from Pinterest), had a deadly addiction to baking sweet goodies, loves camping with her family, and loves to go out and be girly once and awhile!
