Hey, I’m Nathan, and this is Day 17 of 30 Days Watching Jesus. Imagine the
desperation of this father. He’d sought the disciples' help. But they had failed.
Now the anxious father presses Jesus with his case. Jesus is his final hope. He has no other recourse. Have you seen that desperation? Have you looked into the eyes of a friend—or a stranger—and seen that pleading look? Have you felt that you were a person’s last hope? So, that’s a hard question for me to think about. But let’s not forget about Jesus. We may be the faith link between that desperate cry and the healing touch of Jesus. Let your faith wrap so tightly around Jesus that those with desperate needs may find in you his gentle, healing touch.
