Why do children love playing mobile and internet games? Their answer is usually "Gaming is fun!" but there are often underlying reasons to "just being fun". As parents, how do we identify the issues and help our children cope with their gaming habits?

Joining our host Chong Ee Jay is Ray Chua, a senior clinical psychologist specialising in helping gamers with problematic gaming behaviours since 2009. He is also a father of two girls.

An avid gamer from young, Ray is no stranger to the world of gaming. Sharing from his experiences working with children and youth, he delves into motivations that may drive them to gaming and highlights the red flags surrounding gaming. Ray also gives practical handles for parents to work with their children in regulating and meeting their needs in the real world, instead of the virtual world.
