Let’s Talk.

An insightful exploration into the intricacies of male readiness for marriage reveals that many men are not innately prepared for such a commitment. The speaker articulates that men often require inspiration rather than pressure to consider marriage. Unlike women, who may feel an urgency due to societal timelines, men tend to mature and find value as they age, which influences their perspective on marriage. The discussion highlights that emotional factors play a significant role in a man's decision-making process, where feelings of peace and emotional safety are paramount. The speaker identifies several key elements that can catalyze a man's desire for marriage. Firstly, men must have a vision that extends beyond their personal aspirations, as marriage is often viewed as a partnership that enhances this vision. Additionally, the conversation emphasizes that constant pressure can lead to resistance, and emotional understanding is crucial in fostering commitment. The speaker encourages women to reflect on their roles in their relationships, urging them to consider what they bring to the table and how they can inspire their partners. This reflection is vital, as the readiness for marriage is not solely about timing but also about the emotional connection and shared vision between partners.

Transcripts

Speaker A:

Most men are never ready for marriage.

Speaker A:

They only get inspired to.

Speaker A:

Did you know that most of the time you've been checking and saying, why is this man of mine not really wanting to get married?

Speaker A:

What is the problem?

Speaker A:

We have been dating.

Speaker A:

We've been going for this and that.

Speaker A:

I've done everything that I can.

Speaker A:

Why is he not ready for marriage?

Speaker A:

Ladies, I'm going to tell you this one thing that you see for ladies, they will prepare themselves.

Speaker A:

They have a timeline.

Speaker A:

Because time is an enemy to ladies.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because as the time goes by, a lot is changing in them.

Speaker A:

Beauty is fading.

Speaker A:

Life is changing.

Speaker A:

So much is going on.

Speaker A:

The downside, meaning they need to prepare themselves and be ready at a certain point.

Speaker A:

But for men, as they grow older, they are actually adding value.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because it's about knowledge, wisdom, and many other things.

Speaker A:

So most men are now sitting somewhere just fully prepared for marriage at a specific time, at a specific age.

Speaker A:

And what changes a man and makes him get married, ladies, is not pressure.

Speaker A:

It is inspiration.

Speaker A:

I know, I know.

Speaker A:

Ladies will say, come on, Keith.

Speaker A:

But this man of mine, this man of mine, it's always down to one thing.

Speaker A:

Inspiration.

Speaker A:

The experience that he has with you, the emotion that you give him.

Speaker A:

A man moves differently when he sees peace, when he sees purpose, loyalty, vision, and emotional safety in one place.

Speaker A:

The moment you're going to make him feel like, yes, this is what I'm looking for.

Speaker A:

Because a man is looking for those things.

Speaker A:

How peaceful are you when it comes to you?

Speaker A:

Does he feel like he's coming home or does he feel like he is coming to some.

Speaker A:

To some court to answer a couple of questions and to be judged?

Speaker A:

Or does he really feel that, wow, I can't wait to be next to this lady of mine?

Speaker A:

Because that's the thing which is going to make him commit.

Speaker A:

Commitment doesn't just come because, oh, it's about time.

Speaker A:

Now a man needs to get married.

Speaker A:

No, a man can get married even 70 years and he will still be okay as long as the right person is there who is making him feel a certain way.

Speaker A:

So let me give you a couple of points.

Speaker A:

Number one, men fear responsibility more than commitment.

Speaker A:

That's for a fact.

Speaker A:

They are not afraid of love.

Speaker A:

Every man wants to love.

Speaker A:

Come on, who doesn't want to love?

Speaker A:

Men even love for free without necessarily being in a relationship.

Speaker A:

They can just love a neighbor, a friend.

Speaker A:

They can be there for anybody.

Speaker A:

Men are just created full of love, you know, they are created in the image of God, and God is love.

Speaker A:

So love is natural.

Speaker A:

To men.

Speaker A:

But they are afraid of failing as providers.

Speaker A:

They are afraid of failing as protectors, as leaders.

Speaker A:

They don't want to fail.

Speaker A:

That's one of the reasons why they will delay.

Speaker A:

And they just look at things differently.

Speaker A:

Number two, a man marries when his vision expands.

Speaker A:

He has to have a vision.

Speaker A:

And as this vision is expanding, marriage happens when that man starts to see a future which is bigger than himself, when he starts to see a family involved, a crowd of people involved and things like that.

Speaker A:

Now he starts to look and say, maybe this vision, I could accomplish it with so and so and so.

Speaker A:

So if he doesn't have a vision, he has no reason to get married.

Speaker A:

And that's one thing that ladies don't understand.

Speaker A:

A man has to have a vision, a purpose, an idea.

Speaker A:

Why is he doing what he's doing and for what reason?

Speaker A:

And when he starts to have this, then his idea of marriage will come to be because you're coming in like a helper to the vision.

Speaker A:

Not to the man, not to a relationship, but to the vision.

Speaker A:

Just like God in the Garden of Eden told Adam, work on this and this and this.

Speaker A:

And then he sent the woman, all right, hey, you'll be the help of this guy to help in this vision that he's dealing with.

Speaker A:

You understand the point?

Speaker A:

Number three, Peace inspires a man more than pressure.

Speaker A:

Constant pressure.

Speaker A:

Comparison and force usually creates resistance because peace in itself, it's emotional safety.

Speaker A:

So when you're so noisy, when you're so much pressurizing, oh, you can't do this to me.

Speaker A:

You didn't give me this.

Speaker A:

You didn't take me here.

Speaker A:

You didn't do that.

Speaker A:

Pressure will just make the man disappear.

Speaker A:

Number four, A man must feel emotionally seen.

Speaker A:

Respect, understanding, believing in him.

Speaker A:

All these things are going to awaken a deeper desire for commitment.

Speaker A:

If you cannot awaken the deeper thing that he feels that he's emotionally seen, that man will disappear always in the bushes.

Speaker A:

You'll never understand why he doesn't want to commit.

Speaker A:

And the final point is timing.

Speaker A:

Timing changes everything.

Speaker A:

Sometimes a man may genuinely love a woman, but still lack the maturity, lack the stability, you know, their money and everything, or even lack clarity for marriage at that season.

Speaker A:

And if he lacks all these, he may be thinking, why should I get married anyway?

Speaker A:

I don't have this, I don't have that.

Speaker A:

I'm sure you've had ladies, a man telling you that I'm not ready because I've not yet prepared myself that that's true.

Speaker A:

A man may not have the things needed.

Speaker A:

Because in this society that we're living in.

Speaker A:

Come on.

Speaker A:

A man must provide.

Speaker A:

He must put things one, two, three things together.

Speaker A:

So if he has not reached there, then don't expect anything.

Speaker A:

So marriage is not only about being ready that, oh, you have beard now.

Speaker A:

You need to get married?

Speaker A:

No.

Speaker A:

Sometimes it's about meeting the person who awakens the higher version of you.

Speaker A:

So are you that kind of lady who awakens the version of this man that finally can be able to say, you got me, you're the one that I want to spend my life with?

Speaker A:

Because if you're not going to awaken him, if you cannot answer this one question, what do you bring to the table?

Speaker A:

Please do not keep on asking your man, why doesn't he want to get married to you?

Speaker A:

Because, well, if there's nothing you bring to the table, what do you expect?

Speaker A:

And if you want more insights, go to the link on my bio.

Speaker A:

want us to meet up in August:

Speaker A:

We're going to be having a great men's conference.

Speaker A:

We're going to learn so many things so that we can be able to develop masculinity and to be able to lead with wisdom, with guidance, with knowledge, knowing where we should be at specific times.

Speaker A:

Because the society needs men.

Speaker A:

And if men are not there, we have brokenness.

Speaker A:

Children stay with all fathers.

Speaker A:

So we need to wake up as men so that we can learn how to lead with purpose.

Speaker A:

All right?

Speaker A:

So prepare yourself.

Speaker A:

Tickets are coming out soon and I can't wait for this great day.

Speaker A:

And if you're looking for love, visit Kujoana.
