A quiet night at the seashore offers a sacred pause, where the sound of the waves draws hearts into prayer and thanksgiving for time spent in God’s creation. Even in the beauty, there is a longing to stay and a quiet fear of what lies ahead. Yet as the night fades and it is time to leave, God’s gentle promises remain: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5) and “I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). Though the shore is left behind, His presence goes forward, bringing peace, comfort, and courage for whatever comes next.
