Jennifer Hernandez hosts the Real Estate Mogul podcasts joined by guests Daphne Pinkney from the Pinkney Team Royalty and Frank Montro with Keller Williams Preferred.
Frank, who’s been in the industry for 38 years, tells us how he convinced investors to bring the North Side look to the South Side, spending more money to replace the “cheap Home Depot look.” After a video of what he was accomplishing went viral, he was officially dubbed “King of the South Side.”
Jennifer goes on to dub Daphne, mother of six, the Queen of the Buyer’s side. Like Frank, Daphne and her husband wanted to give back to another underserved community in our city, the West Side. Taking a page out of Frank’s book, they too have been investing in bringing quality living to West Side Chicago.
They go on to discuss the power and challenges in persuading investors to put their money in areas that need help to thrive and for Frank, how he’s seen other people copy what he started so long ago.
“It kinda caught on, then now, you know, I look at other people and they're out there doing some cool stuff. So then I'm learning from them.”
They go on to discuss the current state of affairs in real estate (the supply is low and the demand is high) and how things have fluctuated throughout the last few decades. Each shares their opinions and observations, weaving in their own advice and tidbits for anyone listening who’s in the market on either side.
Whether you’re in the market yourself or you’re curious to hear about the ins and outs of real estate, from three insightful experts, tune in to the Real Estate Moguls podcast!
