• Being a solo podcaster, it means you have to work quite hard to keep it sounding interesting.
• Language is a hugely important thing. 

Grow your audience

• Go on other people’s shows particularly that are relevant to what you end up talking about in your own podcast.
• Take part in lots of different communities online. Do not spam them because nobody likes a spammer. Maybe do a podcast about meeting. Being part of the meeting community is what gives you more ideas for your podcast. 
• Be a good person online.

Grow your return on investment

• My show really is a big advertisement for the newsletter. That’s something that’s been sitting there to hopefully keep people consuming the content that I do and to make more people subscribe to the newsletter that I put out. 
• I also really enjoy the podcast bit. I just enjoy that kind of experience. The value I get out of it is just something that I really enjoy.
