In the latest episode of The Freshly Squeezed Podcast, host Tom Lemmon sat down with European securitization’s regulation and politics guru, Ian Bell, the CEO of PCS.

With reform of the securitization framework now well underway, there was lots to chew over including the EU Parliament’s ECON hearing on the reforms, where a number of trade associations put forward their views.

Bell also discussed the role PCS plays in the market as an educational force, bringing securitization conferences (or Symposia) to all corners of Europe.

And lastly, he spoke about why after over a decade he decided to make a career change away from law and into the world of rating agencies and policymaking.
