Shownotes

In this episode, we're going to be talking about my recent trip to Ohio and how it allowed me to combine both personal and professional pursuits. I had the incredible opportunity to visit some friends in Ohio and provide relationship coaching. This was something I was really passionate about, so when one of my friends asked me to share my knowledge with their small church group, I eagerly agreed. I'm incredibly excited about this opportunity and I know it's going to be a lot of fun.

But that's not all! Another friend of mine in Ohio also happens to be someone I do marketing work for. While our friendship existed prior, the marketing aspect is relatively new. So, this trip is not only a chance for me to spend time with them, but also to work on some marketing projects together. Being self-employed, I feel incredibly grateful for the flexibility that allows me to combine work and personal trips like this.

During this episode, I want to encourage you to think about how you can make the most of your vacations, visits to friends, and other events by turning them into business expenses and deducting them from your taxes. Now, I want to make it clear that I'm not offering legal advice as I'm not a tax attorney or CPA. It's always important to consult with a tax professional for guidance. However, if you need a referral, I'd be more than happy to connect you with someone I trust.

The goal here is to maximize your deductibles legally, which ultimately means keeping more money in your pocket and preventing it from going to questionable entities at home or abroad. We should always take advantage of every opportunity to keep more money for ourselves. So, let's focus on doing good work and making smart financial decisions.
