Rorshok's weekly ten-minute update of all things Georgian - news, events and the latest happenings. This week, Georgian media outlets received files leaked from the country’s State Security Service (SSS), which were titled: “Georgian State Security Service’s compromising materials against Patriarchate.” The first raffle of the Georgian vaccination lottery was held. A total of 160 vaccinated citizens won cash prizes. 10 people won 500 lari, which is about 160 US dollars and 50 individuals won 100 amounting to 33 US dollars. The results of the lottery can be checked on the website stopcov.lotto.ge The rate of fully vaccinated teachers stands at 36% in the country, which is still very low. According to the Center for Disease Control, over 80% of school staff should be vaccinated for studies to be renewed in classrooms. The highest rate of vaccination among teachers is in Tbilisi, which stands at 70%. These stories and more in this week’s update.
