Based on Matthew 3:1-12 “The Herald of his Coming” is an Advent reflection on the message of John the Baptist as a herald for Jesus Christ. As we reflect on the birth of the Christ Child it is also a time to get ready, and to prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ the second time because the first Advent is in past and the second is yet to come.
