Shownotes

We've got a practical and motivational episode for you today with an international guest, Helen Raggett, joining us from the UK. Helen's story is a fantastic example of finding your passion and turning it into a way to generate income and help others.

For over 30 years, Helen worked in the corporate IT world, thinking it was her career for life. Life had other plans when she faced redundancy and found herself at a crossroads. Instead of returning to the stressful grind of IT, Helen discovered a new passion: aloe vera based health and wellness products. These products transformed her family's health, particularly helping with her son's severe skin issues, and opened up a new, flexible career path.

Today, Helen helps empower others to take control of their health and finances by building a secondary income stream. We'll chat about her journey from being an IT specialist to an entrepreneur, the challenges and rewards of starting over, and the importance of having a passion for your work.

We'll also discuss the practical aspects of running a side hustle, finding financial freedom, and why health is truly wealth, especially in today's economy. Helen's insights on balancing family and career are invaluable, and you'll love hearing her tips on personal development and gaining confidence.

About the Guest:

Helen Raggett

I worked in IT since the 70's for over 30 years until she was made redundant. Luckily, I was introduced years before to aloe vera due to my son's skin issues. I love the products, like the company and the flexibility of working from home, so I decide to get involved as I didn't want to get back to IT. Now over 2 decades later, at a retirement age, I like to empower people to take control of their health and their financial futures. With the high cost of living, we offer an opportunity for people to build a secondary income alongside their commitments. Prevention is better than care, it's better to have multiple forms of income than to put all eggs in one basket.
