Transcripts

Speaker A:

I'm on to day four of my little video diary.

Speaker A:

And when I dug into AI, when I started really investigating, I found myself running around like a headless chicken.

Speaker A:

I had to sit down with a copper and actually think it through and really step back and think, what is it that I'm trying to achieve here?

Speaker A:

You know when you get so caught up in the excitement of something new that you forget to actually plan?

Speaker A:

And that was me right at the beginning.

Speaker A:

I was treating this AI thing like build an AI business in 90 days, which sounded great until I started digging and realizing that I didn't have a strategy.

Speaker A:

And AI is literally changing daily.

Speaker A:

And not only that, once you realize the vastness of the learning curve, it's time to take a step back.

Speaker A:

So I did what I always do when I'm overwhelmed.

Speaker A:

Made a cup of tea, sat quietly and went inward and started asking the real questions.

Speaker A:

What problem am I trying to solve with AI?

Speaker A:

What are my first steps?

Speaker A:

What resources do I need?

Speaker A:

Where can I make the biggest impact?

Speaker A:

Where can I bring my unique skill set of writing, of tech, of nlp, of personal development, of coaching, of organization skills, of business process, management, of consultancy?

Speaker A:

Where can I bring them all together?

Speaker A:

And you know what hit me?

Speaker A:

This might actually be the sweet spot.

Speaker A:

Language transformation, helping people navigate change, tech.

Speaker A:

These are the exactly the skills needed as AI transforms everything around us.

Speaker A:

The visual stuff still terrifies me.

Speaker A:

Being on camera, showing up, putting myself out there because I'm a bit of an introvert.

Speaker A:

But maybe authenticity matters more than polish right now.

Speaker A:

So that's why I'm going raw.

Speaker A:

I'm not spending hours editing videos because that will stop me getting the real work done.

Speaker A:

And so my wisdom for day four is that when you're drowning in possibilities and potential overwhelm, step back and ask the foundation questions.

Speaker A:

What's the real problem you're trying to solve?

Speaker A:

Who needs your help?

Speaker A:

What unique perspective and skill set do you bring?

Speaker A:

For me, it's helping fellow practitioners, NLPers, hypnotherapists, see AI as an ally, not a threat, and allowing them to see see how it can help them support more people through what might be humanity's biggest mental health challenge.

Speaker A:

So what questions help you get clear when you're overwhelmed?

Speaker A:

And if you're a transformational practitioner wondering about AI, what's your biggest fear or hope?

Speaker A:

Tomorrow I start getting strategic.

Speaker A:

Bye for now, and I'll see you then.
