Bula, my love buckets!
You're probably thinking, what the hell is Bula? Bula is the most common word you'll hear across Fiji; it's used to greet someone and wish them life.
Grab yourself a refreshing drink, get comfortable, and get ready as I climb up into your earholes for this week's episode.
I'm super excited about this episode, as we're taking a magical ride to Fiji! I'm going to discuss Fiji's beauty ideals and body image before and after the introduction of Western media in 1995. I'm going to focus on the research conducted by Dr. Anne Becker in the 80's and '90s and an academic research paper written by Melissa Kong and published in 2007.
Are. You. Ready?!
