Shownotes

It started as a small answer in a group conversation,

and it stayed with her longer than she expected.

Lily was asked what she had been watching.

Everyone shared easily.

Shows.

Genres.

Recommendations.

When it reached her, she paused.

Then mentioned a series she had only partly seen.

Said she liked it.

The response was immediate.

People recognised it.

Agreed.

Asked her about specific moments.

Characters.

Themes.

Lily answered carefully.

General enough to hold.

Specific enough to sound certain.

The conversation moved on.

But the detail stayed.

After that, it became something people associated with her.

They sent recommendations.

Asked for her opinion.

Included her in conversations about it.

She kept up.

Watched more.

Not out of interest.

More to match what she had already said.

Over time, it became easier.

Familiar.

Comfortable to speak about.

People described it as her taste.

Lily accepted that.

But sometimes, when choosing something to watch alone, she notices the difference.

Between what she prefers.

And what she presents.
