Speaker:How did you come to meet Jesus?
Speaker:How did you come to meet Jesus?
Speaker:How old are you?
Speaker:I'm 25.
Speaker:Wow, so at what age did this happen?
Speaker:Okay, I think 2017, age 16.
Speaker:So your parents are pastors and it's expected of you to follow what they are doing.
Speaker:Is there a time when you stepped away or you rebelled against the things that they taught you?
Speaker:Until I found Christ, I had been rebelling.
Speaker:I had been doing the things of the world.
Speaker:Even after finding Christ, I still had some struggles.
Speaker:God has been really helping me.
Speaker:Do you have other siblings?
Speaker:Yes, I do.
Speaker:We are five.
Speaker:I have a brother and I have a sister.
Speaker:Are you the oldest or are you in between?
Speaker:I am the oldest.
Speaker:So you have the responsibility of leading.
Speaker:Yes, yes.
Speaker:So at 16, you accept Christ.
Speaker:You're 25 now, so I'm believing.
Speaker:What did you pursue?
Speaker:Your degree or did you get to work immediately after university?
Speaker:Okay, I am currently done with school.
Speaker:I pursued a degree and I got a degree in the university.
Speaker:I'm currently serving my nation.
Speaker:I'm currently doing an NYSE program, a compulsory program for graduates from my country.
Speaker:What did you pursue your degree in?
Speaker:Animal and environmental biology.
Speaker:Oh, and what are you seeing on the horizon or are you still discovering what you will pursue in life?
Speaker:I know I would further my education in terms of doing masters and we would see where it goes from there, but I still plan to further into my degree.
Speaker:Do you see yourself leading a church in the future?
Speaker:Hmm, if that's God's will.
Speaker:I know I would do ministry and because I'm more of an evangelical minister, so it will be God that would direct me to do that.
Speaker:Are you excited to travel the world?
Speaker:It's something I would love to do.
Speaker:Tell us what you do on social media.
Speaker:Okay, I preach the gospel on social media.
Speaker:In 2017, God spoke to me that I should utilize social media as a means to reach out to souls for Christ and I started doing that in 2017, where I would just tell people Jesus talks to you on social media and I was consistent and it's fine.
Speaker:God kept on inspiring me.
Speaker:Sometimes he would give me a message to preach.
Speaker:He would tell me to talk about this and I would talk about it on social media and that's how it all started.
Speaker:I was using written messages as a means to reach out to people and thank God I've been consistent all these years and God has really been helping me and giving me different ideas, different ways to reach out to souls on social media.
Speaker:What platform are you actively on?
Speaker:Facebook.
Speaker:Facebook.
Speaker:And how can we find you on Facebook?
Speaker:Okay, I have ElufadijinSteven is my main account, ElufadijinSteven, though I have other accounts too, because there was a time I suffered my account being hacked and I had to open multiple accounts so that what I was doing wouldn't die.
Speaker:But ElufadijinSteven, the name of my ministry is Reach for Christ Ministry.
Speaker:What do your parents think about what you do?
Speaker:They are very, very excited about what I do because my dad was one of my greatest supporters while I started.
Speaker:He's the one that would always like my posts, comment on it, encourage me when I started and he still does that even now.
Speaker:And my mom, she has been telling me about many great things that God is going to do through me.
Speaker:That thing I do on Facebook is just like a foundation for the great things.
Speaker:What do you look forward to in the future?
Speaker:I look forward to being established and also reaching out to as many people as possible for Jesus.
Speaker:I think that's my passion.
Speaker:I want to get as many people saved as possible.
Speaker:I believe that is my main purpose.
Speaker:That is the reason why God brought me to this age, to get as many people saved.
Speaker:For the person who is listening, who is a young man, what would you suggest is the important things that you need to do to keep you grounded in Christ?
Speaker:Okay, one of it is obedience.
Speaker:Obedience to God.
Speaker:Because we serve a God that speaks.
Speaker:We serve a God that has a relationship with his children.
Speaker:So if we are willing to walk with God and obey him, I feel we would always get it right in our walk with God.
Speaker:Obedience is the key.
Speaker:If you're listening to this conversation at age 30, which is five years from today, what's a message you'd leave for your future self?
Speaker:Okay, keep pushing.
Speaker:Don't give up.
Speaker:Because there are many circumstances that have come my way and would want me to give up.
Speaker:But keep pushing.
Speaker:Don't give up.
Speaker:God is going to do great things with your life and you just need to believe and have faith.
Speaker:It's been an honor speaking with you.
Speaker:In closing, is there anything else you'd like to share?
Speaker:Maybe I should say this.
Speaker:I think Mark chapter 16, verse 15, it says, Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
Speaker:You know, many people don't believe in social media ministry.
Speaker:They believe the scripture.
Speaker:When the scripture was telling us to go into the world and preach the gospel, it was just talking about meeting people physically.
Speaker:But when the scripture told us to go into all the world and preach the gospel, that world is not about geography.
Speaker:It's not about going from one place to another.
Speaker:It's the world is more about people.
Speaker:When the Bible says go into all the world, it is saying go to where people are.
Speaker:Go to where you can find people and reach out to them.
Speaker:One thing that has encouraged my social media ministry is that many people are online on Facebook.
Speaker:Many people are online on social media.
Speaker:And when the scripture says go into all the world, it is also telling you go to social media and preach the gospel because people are there.
Speaker:That world is not about geography.
Speaker:It is more about people.
Speaker:That scripture is telling us to go to people.
Speaker:And if you can reach people physically around you, you can also reach them on social media.
Speaker:So I want every individual to take social media ministry as a thing.
Speaker:I want people to believe in it more.
Speaker:Because that Jesus loves you on your post can save a soul, a soul that you might never have met.
Speaker:So I feel people should believe more in social media ministry and utilize it as a means to reaching people for Christ.
Speaker:And God will help us.
Speaker:Hello, this has been a great pleasure, one I treasure.
Speaker:Thank you for being on What Is Inspired by 12 and the Converse.
