Shownotes
This year, I planted my very first garden, or as I like to call it, my “yarden.” I’ve partnered with my local farmer-owned co-op Farm Supply Company for the process. What you need to know is that historically, I don’t have a great track record with plants. I either drown them with too much love and water or just forget they exist entirely until they shrivel up and die. I’m working on finding the happy in-between.
I took on this project to prove to myself once again that new habits can be formed, identities can shift, and maybe I do have a green thumb after all! Time will tell. But so far, things are going better than expected and I've learned a lot, not just about gardening, in the process, but also about myself. So in today's episode, I'm sharing 5 things my yarden is teaching me.
In this episode, we’ll chat about:
- Getting curious about the identities that we hold true about ourselves and deciphering if they are actually true or if we’ve just believed them for so long
- Creating space to grow into your full potential
- What negativity bias is and how it impacts our thoughts
- Boundaries show love and respect to ourselves and to others
