Building Better Relationships-Part 3

It can be difficult to maintain healthy relationships with other people. We are imperfect, and it is easy to hurt others' feelings and make mistakes. However, with God's help, we can strive to have better relationships with others. Starting by practicing the Fruit of the Spirit, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control will help us maintain positive relationships with others. Biblically, faithfulness is the fact or quality of being true to one's word or commitments, as to what one has pledged to do, professes to believe, etc. Gentleness in the Bible means showing care and respect for others in how you act and speak. Someone gentle wants to help others, even when they have been done wrong. Self-control means giving up trying to control things on our own, surrendering to God for help, and working alongside Him for real change.
