Hi, I'm Rob Carver, author of the book, "366 Days of Tennis," a tip a day to improve

your game.

And today's tip, going to help you make an impact, an impact especially when you're returning

serve.

Your opponent missed the first serve.

Guess what?

Now's your chance.

I want you to be aggressive with that return of serve.

Take it down the line early, lob down the line early, return and come in.

You want to make an impact.

Now, if you miss those shots, lose the points.

I don't care.

But what happens is that server knows that you're being aggressive on the second serve.

That puts more pressure on their first serve.

So if they miss the first serve, they're getting nervous because why?

Because you're making an impact.

Take some chances early.

Step in early.

Take a chance.

Move in.

See how it affects your opponent's first serve.

And you might win a lot of their second serves.
