Transcripts

CHELSEY DONN:

Just thinking about that idea of having somebody up there, somebody like Trey with that wig and those gloves, I'm gonna have nightmares.

TREY GERRALD:

I am Dr.

TREY GERRALD:

Billion, I love butts.

CHELSEY DONN:

If I showed up and you were giving me an anal exam, I think I would be very nervous.

VOICEOVER:

Everybody's got an opinion, Every Californian and Virginian, It's so hard to tell who to trust and who to ignore, Someone's gotta settle the score., Trey and Chelsey will help you choose, Whose views win which ones lose, Online haters are coming for you, Baby, it's time to Review That Review!,

CHELSEY DONN:

Hello,

TREY GERRALD:

Well, hello and welcome to Review That Review.

TREY GERRALD:

We are the podcast that is dedicated to reviewing.

TREY GERRALD:

That is Dr.

TREY GERRALD:

Chelsey Donn.

CHELSEY DONN:

that is Dr.

CHELSEY DONN:

Trey Gerrald reporting for duty.

CHELSEY DONN:

No pun intended.

TREY GERRALD:

And when we doctor together in one practice, you can call us

VOICEOVER:

The Review Queens,

CHELSEY DONN:

MD.

TREY GERRALD:

Oh yeah, MDs, that's what I meant.

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh my goodness.

TREY GERRALD:

wearing a doctor frock today in honor of the episode.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah, Trey's, Trey's scrubbed up and ready for examination.

TREY GERRALD:

I'll also show you, since we're doing a proctologist,

CHELSEY DONN:

You gave away the lead you uh

TREY GERRALD:

it's in the episode title.

CHELSEY DONN:

okay yes oh my god okay so trey's this i don't even first of all your scrubs are dental dentist

TREY GERRALD:

I bought this on Amazon, like, overnight years ago for an

CHELSEY DONN:

oh my god hilarious it has a, tooth with like, stars and it looks like like a tooth fairy uh oh my god trey but he has these fabulous i would say long almost latex looking gloves and with these gloves he could go i i mean pretty much to the elbow

TREY GERRALD:

We'll circle back to this, but yes,

CHELSEY DONN:

We will.

CHELSEY DONN:

So,

TREY GERRALD:

later.

TREY GERRALD:

Tickle the tease button.

CHELSEY DONN:

speaking of staying clean, Trey, would you like to get something off your chest, maybe, and,

VOICEOVER:

Lodge a complaint,

TREY GERRALD:

I would, thank you for asking.

TREY GERRALD:

Well, all right, listen, so I was excited to wear a wig and do a whole thing and, um, portray the doctor we're gonna be doing a versus on today, and I wanted to do a really big wig, but in order to do that, like, I can't wear these headphones, so I do have beats by Dre that are Bluetooth that, like, go over the ear, because I, I can't do, like, this air pod, well, I can't have them falling out, like, I can't do that.

TREY GERRALD:

And I don't like having, like, the wire, obviously, so I need a Bluetooth.

TREY GERRALD:

But my complaint today is when the left ear charges at a different rate than the right ear.

TREY GERRALD:

So, like, today I wanted to use these so I wouldn't have to be beholden to these headphones, but one side was at 53 percent and the other side was at 100%.

TREY GERRALD:

So it's like, I'm not getting to, like, the game and then, like, I can't hear out of my

CHELSEY DONN:

ugh, yeah,

TREY GERRALD:

So that's my complaint.

TREY GERRALD:

Like, this is supposed to be, like, making life better.

TREY GERRALD:

And I recognize that, like, when you go cordless, like, you have to have battery life, and my complaint's not about the battery life, like, it lasts really long, but why do they charge at different rates?

TREY GERRALD:

Am I, maybe, like, one side isn't pressed all the way in?

TREY GERRALD:

But, like, let's show the audience, there's not a lot of error here, like, you put it in and it's

CHELSEY DONN:

locked in, they're locked and loaded,

TREY GERRALD:

Right.

TREY GERRALD:

Even, like, I'm shaking it upside down like it's a blizzard.

TREY GERRALD:

Nothing's coming out.

CHELSEY DONN:

moving,

TREY GERRALD:

So, that's my complaint.

TREY GERRALD:

Do you have these?

TREY GERRALD:

Have you ever experienced this?

TREY GERRALD:

This is a maddening process.

TREY GERRALD:

Please,

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah, I mean, I guess I have, like, an initial, just, like, question, just

CHELSEY DONN:

for my records, here.

CHELSEY DONN:

So, do you ever just use one ear?

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, if you're on a phone call, like, are you just using the left and not the right?

TREY GERRALD:

Okay, well that leads into another complaint, because sometimes I can't get one of the ears to sync.

TREY GERRALD:

And then I can't figure it out because I'm just trying to do my walk on the elliptical.

TREY GERRALD:

So then I'm like, fuck it, and I just put one in my ear.

TREY GERRALD:

So yeah, so sometimes they are used at different rates.

TREY GERRALD:

But that's

CHELSEY DONN:

has something to do with it?

TREY GERRALD:

problem.

TREY GERRALD:

Maybe, but the last time I used these, Chelsey, was on the flight to visit

CHELSEY DONN:

So, they've been sitting in their charging port.

CHELSEY DONN:

They should both have more than enough time.

TREY GERRALD:

it just connected to my computer.

TREY GERRALD:

I can't hear you.

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh, my God.

CHELSEY DONN:

That's hilarious.

TREY GERRALD:

Wait, can you hear me?

CHELSEY DONN:

I can hear you.

CHELSEY DONN:

I could

CHELSEY DONN:

hear you the whole time.

TREY GERRALD:

Okay.

TREY GERRALD:

Somehow it just connected

CHELSEY DONN:

I think maybe because you were shaking it around and it was like, I'll show

TREY GERRALD:

But yeah, your, your question was the last time I used it.

CHELSEY DONN:

If it's been a long time, they should both have enough time to charge

TREY GERRALD:

It's been like a

CHELSEY DONN:

to a hundred percent.

TREY GERRALD:

Right.

TREY GERRALD:

And even if I'm only using one, I like to have them both in, on an airplane.

TREY GERRALD:

So I have the illusion that like, don't talk to me, you know,

CHELSEY DONN:

Interesting.

CHELSEY DONN:

I like that.

TREY GERRALD:

everything just got so much louder.

TREY GERRALD:

I'm so confused all of a sudden, but yeah.

TREY GERRALD:

So, okay.

TREY GERRALD:

Well, can you write me a prescription doctor?

TREY GERRALD:

Like, I don't know what to do.

CHELSEY DONN:

Hmm, I could write you a prescription, I don't know, maybe get another pair of headphones,

TREY GERRALD:

Will insurance cover that?

CHELSEY DONN:

I don't know if insurance is gonna cover that unfortunately, but there's just way too much anxiety in general around headphones, especially headphones that are meant to be Easy, on the go, easy, breezy, beautiful cover girl headphones that end up just being such an annoyance.

CHELSEY DONN:

They won't pair, one of them is on, the other one is off, like it's just, there's so many things that can go wrong and it does feel like we should have fixed this by now.

CHELSEY DONN:

It should be more like idiot proof, if you will.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah, I I'm the one, yeah.

TREY GERRALD:

I'm, I feel like the idiot.

TREY GERRALD:

That's right.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah.

TREY GERRALD:

All right.

TREY GERRALD:

Well, I guess

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh my goodness, well, I hear you, it's been added to your chart

CHELSEY DONN:

and we will keep an eye on that.

TREY GERRALD:

Thank you so much.

TREY GERRALD:

I appreciate that.

TREY GERRALD:

Thank you.

CHELSEY DONN:

you're welcome.

CHELSEY DONN:

All right, with all this medical jargon in mind,

CHELSEY DONN:

Trey, should we hop in?

CHELSEY DONN:

Tush first?

TREY GERRALD:

tush first.

CHELSEY DONN:

Tush to tush?

TREY GERRALD:

we go ahead?

TREY GERRALD:

Should we go instead of head to head?

TREY GERRALD:

Should we go tush to tush?

CHELSEY DONN:

We should go tush to tush.

CHELSEY DONN:

Let's do it.

CHELSEY DONN:

That's

VOICEOVER:

assess that kvetch, Review

TREY GERRALD:

episode meaning we are gonna cover both a one star and a five star on the same exact topic.

CHELSEY DONN:

right!

CHELSEY DONN:

For this versus episode, Trey has selected the one star and I have selected the five star.

CHELSEY DONN:

So, to determine who reads first, we have to flip that quarter and I can't remember which one of us has to guess.

CHELSEY DONN:

Anyway, I do this every Versus

TREY GERRALD:

yeah, but I don't remember this either.

TREY GERRALD:

Well, you wanna go?

CHELSEY DONN:

I'll guess.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay.

CHELSEY DONN:

Tails.

CHELSEY DONN:

It's Tails.

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh, so that means we're going to hear the five star, which we don't usually hear on the main

TREY GERRALD:

That's right.

TREY GERRALD:

Wait, I do have a wig.

TREY GERRALD:

Hold on.

CHELSEY DONN:

There are glasses going on.

CHELSEY DONN:

The wig has come out.

CHELSEY DONN:

Ooh, all of a sudden I don't even see Trey anymore.

CHELSEY DONN:

I see Dr.

CHELSEY DONN:

Million.

CHELSEY DONN:

Paging Dr.

CHELSEY DONN:

Million.

CHELSEY DONN:

Paging Dr.

CHELSEY DONN:

Million.

TREY GERRALD:

I'm sorry.

TREY GERRALD:

I'm Dr.

TREY GERRALD:

Billion.

TREY GERRALD:

Thank you.

CHELSEY DONN:

All right.

TREY GERRALD:

Alright, so,

CHELSEY DONN:

Fabulous.

TREY GERRALD:

today, we are going to be covering both ends of the spectrum of Yelp reviews for San Francisco's Center for Colorectal Health, that's right, proctology in the house.

TREY GERRALD:

At the time of this recording, there are 87 reviews on Yelp, with an average score of 3.

TREY GERRALD:

9 out of 5.

TREY GERRALD:

You know the deal.

TREY GERRALD:

So according to the About This Vendor section on Yelp, the Center for, why did I put this twice?

TREY GERRALD:

The Center for Colorectal, Colorectal, I did a whole like Google pronunciation.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah, Colorectal.

TREY GERRALD:

I want to say collar, but it's the colon.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yes.

TREY GERRALD:

The Center for Colorectal Health was established in 2006 and has been very successful in the treatment of hemorrhoids, fissures, Anal warts, fistulas, abscesses, skin tags, and many other benign perianal conditions.

TREY GERRALD:

At this point in the episode, I want everyone to know, Chelsey chose today's episode topic.

TREY GERRALD:

No, this is the funniest fucking, this is so fucking funny.

TREY GERRALD:

Okay.

TREY GERRALD:

Business owner, And Medical Director, you know, my beloved co worker, Dr.

TREY GERRALD:

Carolyn Millian, earned her medical degree at the University of Louisville Medical Center, completed a five year residency, as you have to, and general surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago,

CHELSEY DONN:

Good school.

TREY GERRALD:

What, like it's hard?

CHELSEY DONN:

But, like, it's hard?

CHELSEY DONN:

Exactly.

TREY GERRALD:

Then they completed a year long fellowship in colon and rectal surgery.

TREY GERRALD:

At Cook County Hospital makes me think of the musical Chicago.

CHELSEY DONN:

Mm

TREY GERRALD:

My co worker, Dr.

TREY GERRALD:

Carolyn Millian, is a fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeries.

TREY GERRALD:

Having received, okay, this is so interesting to me, Dr.

TREY GERRALD:

Million received their bachelor's degree with a summa cum laude honor from Whitmore College in Spokane, Washington.

TREY GERRALD:

That's not the part that's interesting.

TREY GERRALD:

Then, they also hold a doctor of ministry degree from Wisdom University.

TREY GERRALD:

Talking about a wisdom tooth, from San Francisco.

TREY GERRALD:

And they also have a Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

TREY GERRALD:

So this is a Christ loving woman who is all up in that ass.

CHELSEY DONN:

That's interesting.

CHELSEY DONN:

Is that what that means?

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, the, so they're a minister?

CHELSEY DONN:

A doctor of ministry?

CHELSEY DONN:

I've never even heard of

TREY GERRALD:

And then they have a Master of Divinity.

CHELSEY DONN:

Are these titles that people know?

CHELSEY DONN:

I've never even heard

CHELSEY DONN:

of

TREY GERRALD:

mean, I'm an ordained

CHELSEY DONN:

And how odd that they, like, mentioned it in this profile, even if it was their, like, I don't know, it just seems, I agree, a little weird to mix that in,

TREY GERRALD:

this is San Francisco, which is like, A gay haven,

CHELSEY DONN:

that's right,

TREY GERRALD:

not to promote stereotypes here, but,

CHELSEY DONN:

gonna promote them,

TREY GERRALD:

you know, there's a lot of gay sex happening, probably, in San Francisco, and we know how Christians stereotypically feel about gay sex,

CHELSEY DONN:

mm

TREY GERRALD:

don't know that I want someone with a Master of Divinity up in my ass, but, that's neither here nor there, and

CHELSEY DONN:

or do I?

TREY GERRALD:

that's hopefully, well, hopefully we can answer that by the end of today's episode, that's what we're gonna get clear on.

CHELSEY DONN:

That's really what we're working on Clarity for,

TREY GERRALD:

Dr.

TREY GERRALD:

Billion and Dr.

TREY GERRALD:

Quadrillion, that's Chelsey, we're on the case today.

TREY GERRALD:

So with all of that background info and some unnecessary judgments from me, let's, uh, jump in and hear the five star.

TREY GERRALD:

Let's do it.

CHELSEY DONN:

All right.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay.

CHELSEY DONN:

Here we go.

CHELSEY DONN:

Let's jump right in.

CHELSEY DONN:

Tush first.

CHELSEY DONN:

This is your five star review written by Jeffrey G.

TREY GERRALD:

3G.

TREY GERRALD:

That sounds like Jessie J's cousin.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah.

CHELSEY DONN:

Could be.

CHELSEY DONN:

They're wearing in their profile photo like a tuxedo with a bow tie, so they're like, look like they're at a wedding or something, maybe even their own, and then they do have like a bit of scruff that I personally find

CHELSEY DONN:

attractive.

TREY GERRALD:

Dr.

TREY GERRALD:

Million perform their ceremony and this?

CHELSEY DONN:

Well,

TREY GERRALD:

Let's

CHELSEY DONN:

you be the judge of that when you hear this review.

CHELSEY DONN:

Let's face it, it's your butt, and unless it's open for business on Grindr, it's probably the last thing on your mind to want to have to deal with.

CHELSEY DONN:

But the reality is, we all have issues with our hoo ha from time to time, and luckily when the time came for me, I was referred to Dr.

CHELSEY DONN:

Million.

CHELSEY DONN:

She's very professional, friendly, and has a great butt side manner.

CHELSEY DONN:

You're not exactly gonna feel dignified laying on your side while she's digging around down there diagnosing the problem, but she's great at keeping the conversation going to distract you from the fact that she's down there in

CHELSEY DONN:

the first place.

CHELSEY DONN:

Her diagnosis was quick and she gave me several options for treatment ranging from passive to aggressive.

CHELSEY DONN:

I preferred the aggressive route and was scheduled to come back in a week.

CHELSEY DONN:

On the day of the appointment, I was extremely nervous.

CHELSEY DONN:

She picked up on that right away and offered me a Valium to calm my nerves.

CHELSEY DONN:

I gladly accepted.

CHELSEY DONN:

Before I knew it, I was ass up with the theme from Valley of the

CHELSEY DONN:

Dolls going through my head.

CHELSEY DONN:

The rest is a bit of a blur, but it was over and done with quickly and painlessly.

CHELSEY DONN:

Save for anesthesia needles, which are kind of a necessary evil.

CHELSEY DONN:

Her assistants are saints to do some of the crazy prep work, but they are all very sweet.

CHELSEY DONN:

They are clearly one big family.

CHELSEY DONN:

They do a great job making you feel comfortable.

CHELSEY DONN:

It's not a job I'd want to do, but Dr.

CHELSEY DONN:

Millian does a great job making sure your dignity and her dignity are are still firmly intact.

CHELSEY DONN:

Mm

CHELSEY DONN:

hmm.

TREY GERRALD:

god, the Valley of the Dolls theme.

TREY GERRALD:

It's so gay forward, I love it.

CHELSEY DONN:

I know.

CHELSEY DONN:

What do we think about the Grindr comment?

TREY GERRALD:

Well, I think it's funny that it's so early on in the review.

TREY GERRALD:

Valley of the Dolls,

CHELSEY DONN:

I hate

TREY GERRALD:

I was gonna ask you,

CHELSEY DONN:

this.

VOICEOVER:

Gotta get off, gonna get, Had to get off from

VOICEOVER:

this ride, Gotta get

VOICEOVER:

hold,

CHELSEY DONN:

uh, Dionne Warwick.

VOICEOVER:

gonna

VOICEOVER:

get, Need to get hold of my,

CHELSEY DONN:

so, okay, so do we think that they're in on the joke here?

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, Jeffrey, okay,

TREY GERRALD:

I think they're trying to make light of the issue,

CHELSEY DONN:

okay, because we don't think that they're just like making fun, right?

TREY GERRALD:

I don't think so, no, I think, I mean, to reference Valley of the

CHELSEY DONN:

the Valley of the Dolls and like, yeah, I mean, I feel like they're in on the joke and the rest of it is, is funny.

TREY GERRALD:

but, if I was a cis, straight woman, looking for a proctologist, but, and I lived in San Francisco, so I probably would get the culture, but like, would you sort of be like, Grindr?

TREY GERRALD:

What?

CHELSEY DONN:

I don't know.

CHELSEY DONN:

I mean, I guess if you're in San Francisco, you know what Grindr is,

CHELSEY DONN:

right?

TREY GERRALD:

what I'm assuming, right?

CHELSEY DONN:

think so.

TREY GERRALD:

Right, this isn't like Mobile, Alabama.

TREY GERRALD:

This is literally San Francisco.

TREY GERRALD:

Okay.

TREY GERRALD:

I mean, I think it's funny.

CHELSEY DONN:

I think it's funny.

TREY GERRALD:

the phrase hoo ha.

TREY GERRALD:

Do you remember when you first heard, like, hoo ha?

TREY GERRALD:

Do you remember, like, where that originated from?

CHELSEY DONN:

I don't, but I feel like I always thought hoo ha is the front.

TREY GERRALD:

Thank you.

TREY GERRALD:

Because that's what Cathy Griffin made the phrase hoo ha famous, because she would always talk about her hoo ha.

TREY GERRALD:

So I always thought hoo ha was a pussy.

CHELSEY DONN:

Same.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah, me too.

TREY GERRALD:

But we get the point.

TREY GERRALD:

Also, for gay men, maybe it's the bussy.

CHELSEY DONN:

I was going to say maybe.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah.

TREY GERRALD:

I have to tell you this.

TREY GERRALD:

I have a coworker who I always make funny names for people, and out of nowhere she called me Trey Ussie.

TREY GERRALD:

I could not stop laughing for like 15 minutes,

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh my God.

CHELSEY DONN:

Trissy.

TREY GERRALD:

No, Trey Ussie.

TREY GERRALD:

It's funnier.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay.

CHELSEY DONN:

Sorry.

CHELSEY DONN:

Treyossi.

TREY GERRALD:

because I call myself Trey Onsay.

TREY GERRALD:

So then it became Trey Ussie.

TREY GERRALD:

Trey Ussie, Ussie.

TREY GERRALD:

God, I think that is so funny.

TREY GERRALD:

Chelsey Ussie.

TREY GERRALD:

Anyway, Jeffrey Ussie.

TREY GERRALD:

This could be, I mean, whatever.

TREY GERRALD:

Okay, whatever.

CHELSEY DONN:

we've gotten,

TREY GERRALD:

side.

TREY GERRALD:

What do you think is butt side manner?

CHELSEY DONN:

I think it's just a funny way of saying bedside manner, but like we're at the butt.

CHELSEY DONN:

So it is sort of butt side manner.

TREY GERRALD:

What would you consider to be quality ingredients of butt side manner?

CHELSEY DONN:

Well, I've never been to a

CHELSEY DONN:

Proctologist?

CHELSEY DONN:

or anything, but I have had a colonic.

TREY GERRALD:

Really?

TREY GERRALD:

Okay, so you can really speak to this.

CHELSEY DONN:

And I remember, like, being very nervous,

CHELSEY DONN:

like, I didn't know if I was supposed to stick the thing in myself, or if he was supposed to do

CHELSEY DONN:

it, I just, like, I, yeah, I mean, I ultimately let him do it, but, I mean, I don't know that he had the best butt side manner, like, he was talking to me about my diet, While he was working on it,

CHELSEY DONN:

which felt like a right stop.

CHELSEY DONN:

And then also he left it in for like a really long time to the point where I had to like say to him, like, I feel like I've had enough.

CHELSEY DONN:

And then he was, I was like, I was like, how much longer is this going to go for?

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, I don't know if I'm, you know,

CHELSEY DONN:

ready for it.

CHELSEY DONN:

And then.

TREY GERRALD:

had enough.

TREY GERRALD:

Thank you, doctor.

CHELSEY DONN:

And it?

CHELSEY DONN:

was like, honestly, it was like a while in before I said anything, but finally, I was like, I, I'm good, I

TREY GERRALD:

Was he like, oh, oh, and took it out immediately?

CHELSEY DONN:

He said like, Oh my God, was this your first time?

CHELSEY DONN:

And I was like,

CHELSEY DONN:

yes.

CHELSEY DONN:

And he was like Oh, wow, you lasted a really long time

TREY GERRALD:

Oh, I am

CHELSEY DONN:

for someone whose first time it is.

CHELSEY DONN:

So I feel like that was bad butt side manner.

CHELSEY DONN:

Like,

CHELSEY DONN:

he could have asked me, is this your first time?

CHELSEY DONN:

He could have been like, is there anything you want to know?

CHELSEY DONN:

Instead of being like, maybe you should not eat gluten and eat more vegetables.

TREY GERRALD:

Oh, he told you all that.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah,

TREY GERRALD:

Interesting.

CHELSEY DONN:

that was bad butt side manner.

CHELSEY DONN:

So I feel like good butt side manner would be like, how about them Yankees?

CHELSEY DONN:

I don't know.

CHELSEY DONN:

But

CHELSEY DONN:

like something that's just like, let's, it's the same as like going to the OBGYN when they're like giving you a pap or something.

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, they will purposely be like, so like, got any good plans this weekend?

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, have you seen that movie?

CHELSEY DONN:

And honestly, like, sometimes it is good because it's like, we're both acknowledging that.

CHELSEY DONN:

This is sort of an awkward thing and let's just like get through it by trying to distract you.

CHELSEY DONN:

With some other thought, like, I think that that's good, But hoo ha.

TREY GERRALD:

But hoo ha.

CHELSEY DONN:

side manner,

TREY GERRALD:

Well, okay.

CHELSEY DONN:

but hoo ha.

TREY GERRALD:

what do you think the conversation topics are at play here?

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh, geez.

TREY GERRALD:

not gonna ask a gay man about the Yankees, I would imagine.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah, right.

CHELSEY DONN:

We're in San Francisco.

CHELSEY DONN:

I don't know.

TREY GERRALD:

Is that San Francisco?

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah,

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah.

CHELSEY DONN:

What would we be talking about?

CHELSEY DONN:

I

CHELSEY DONN:

mean, I'm hoping that we're not pushing any Christian agenda.

CHELSEY DONN:

It doesn't sound like we are.

TREY GERRALD:

I just went

CHELSEY DONN:

Trey just froze.

TREY GERRALD:

Can you imagine, you're ass up, you got Dr.

TREY GERRALD:

Million inside

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah, yeah,

TREY GERRALD:

Million leans over into your ear and says, Have you heard the good word?,

CHELSEY DONN:

terrifying, honestly,

CHELSEY DONN:

because you're completely, you're completely, That would be bad but you're completely vulnerable and you're captive,

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah that's terrible, Wait,

CHELSEY DONN:

they got you by the

CHELSEY DONN:

anus, By the hoo ha,

TREY GERRALD:

Okay, so then Jeffrey also has to a little discrepancy here.

TREY GERRALD:

So I'm curious.

TREY GERRALD:

They say how like you're on your side and then later they say, I had that Valium and I was ass up.

TREY GERRALD:

So are you on all fours or are you on your side?

TREY GERRALD:

'cause I feel like you are on your side, right?

CHELSEY DONN:

Well, I think that what they were saying was first we went in just for like a check, a

CHELSEY DONN:

Check and that was what we were on our side, which I was also on my side when I had the colonic, so you're on your side because they were sort of examining, And then now that we're gonna do the procedure and we've, we've opted to do the more aggressive of the procedures,

TREY GERRALD:

You

CHELSEY DONN:

Now we're on our back, like in more of a surgery setting.

TREY GERRALD:

But that would be an ass down.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah.

CHELSEY DONN:

Did they say ass up?

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah, I was assed up singing the Valley of the Dolls theme song.

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh yeah, you're right.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay.

CHELSEY DONN:

So you could be

CHELSEY DONN:

laying down.

CHELSEY DONN:

What if they put, yeah, but what if they put your legs in stirrups or something?

TREY GERRALD:

Well, you would still be assed down, honey.

CHELSEY DONN:

I would, isn't that a little,

TREY GERRALD:

speaking.

CHELSEY DONN:

but your ass would be like,

CHELSEY DONN:

woohoo, you know,

CHELSEY DONN:

wouldn't it?

TREY GERRALD:

that's not up.

TREY GERRALD:

How would you describe that as up?

CHELSEY DONN:

If I'm like in a

TREY GERRALD:

How do you get your ass up?

TREY GERRALD:

Everything else is down.

TREY GERRALD:

That's the only way to describe ass up, is that everything else is down.

CHELSEY DONN:

if my ass is coming from that still ass down?

TREY GERRALD:

We're talking about stirrups?

TREY GERRALD:

Like when you go to

CHELSEY DONN:

Yes.

CHELSEY DONN:

Like if my legs are

CHELSEY DONN:

like, if they need

TREY GERRALD:

on your butt.

CHELSEY DONN:

I guess so.

CHELSEY DONN:

I

CHELSEY DONN:

think it's a figure of speech.

CHELSEY DONN:

I

CHELSEY DONN:

think we're, I think I think

TREY GERRALD:

little Went down the wrong hole!

CHELSEY DONN:

We got the wrong call there.

CHELSEY DONN:

Do we think that this is valuable?

CHELSEY DONN:

Useful?

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, obviously, we know that the main intent here seems to be humor, but

CHELSEY DONN:

are we feeling like we're getting something out of this?

TREY GERRALD:

I actually do and and I was gonna point to this because I think first of all my initial like read on all of this was like I felt a little weird about it being like making gay jokes which is all we've been doing or I've been doing but I'm actually now thinking wait I would much rather work on gay men because gay men are very connected to their buttholes generally speaking.

TREY GERRALD:

And it's maybe not as uncomfortable or like,

CHELSEY DONN:

Right, like, it's probably way more uncomfortable with someone who's very uncomfortable with that part of their

TREY GERRALD:

correct, right?

TREY GERRALD:

I'm that just occurred to me.

TREY GERRALD:

That's not how I started.

TREY GERRALD:

And now I'm hearing like, okay, great.

TREY GERRALD:

I the value here for me is that Dr.

TREY GERRALD:

Million understands like, It can potentially be very uncomfortable and they're like easing that process for you and like you can be silly the whole volume giving I guess like that is the only way to get volume is from a doctor but it really occurred to me like like

CHELSEY DONN:

know when I read it, you were like, what?

TREY GERRALD:

well because it was like they gave me they didn't prescribe me also like Do you have those there?

TREY GERRALD:

Like, don't you have to go to a pharmacy?

TREY GERRALD:

But I guess doctors

CHELSEY DONN:

No, like if you're doing more of a surgery thing, oftentimes,

CHELSEY DONN:

they'll give you Valium.

CHELSEY DONN:

They might even put it right into your IV, you know what I mean?

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, they're,

TREY GERRALD:

your butt.

CHELSEY DONN:

they might even stick it right up there.

TREY GERRALD:

Wait, here's a question.

TREY GERRALD:

Have you ever had your temperature taken up your butt

CHELSEY DONN:

like when I was a baby

TREY GERRALD:

Because I wonder how they do that.

TREY GERRALD:

Are you on your side for that, or are you on all fours?

TREY GERRALD:

I'm back to the ass up, whatever.

TREY GERRALD:

I think it's valuable, and I appreciate the humor, and that like, this person's experience was like, we're all good.

TREY GERRALD:

Don't feel uncomfortable.

CHELSEY DONN:

I agree.

CHELSEY DONN:

Also, in terms of like the spelling and grammar, excellent.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah.

TREY GERRALD:

Truthful Shady?

CHELSEY DONN:

Truthful shady.

TREY GERRALD:

Seems

CHELSEY DONN:

I think truthful, Do we trust them?

CHELSEY DONN:

Like, do we think that

TREY GERRALD:

I do.

CHELSEY DONN:

they're giving us accurate information and that I can expect Dr.

CHELSEY DONN:

Million to come off how Jeffrey is implying?

TREY GERRALD:

I think I trust Jeffrey here is because they sort of start with, this was my concern and my expectation and this is how it was defeated, to like a positive effect, which makes me feel like I can trust them because they're being vulnerable and sharing, like, this could be uncomfortable.

TREY GERRALD:

This one big happy anal family of like the people at this.

TREY GERRALD:

Colorectal Center, they like, have got your back, and like, I wouldn't want this job, but the people here, they like, make it awesome, and like, kudos to them, go here, I encourage you, like, this is the spot, and I think that's like, valuable and truthful, and could be a common experience, I mean, I feel like this would be typical,

CHELSEY DONN:

I was gonna say, do you think we can ascertain whether or not this is common?

TREY GERRALD:

well, I imagine the specifics here are just so commonplace, like, they're good at distracting, and like, I was a little nervous, so they gave me value, I'm

CHELSEY DONN:

I mean, I guess also, they didn't really tell us what their issue was, not that they need to, this is obviously a medical environment, so it's a little bit

CHELSEY DONN:

different, we have to be a little bit more forgiving about leaving out some sort of details, of course, because this

CHELSEY DONN:

is very personal, but it did make me wonder, like, even though this was the aggressive approach, like, maybe some people have, More severe, more serious problems that have to get dealt with and then

CHELSEY DONN:

that's gonna inherently be way more painful.

CHELSEY DONN:

And then if it's a more painful experience, then you're gonna have a negative connotation with this doctor because you're gonna say like they did this to me when maybe it's just that's what you needed to have done.

TREY GERRALD:

But, to counteract that, to why I don't think this is fluky is because they say, The doctor gave me a lot of options.

TREY GERRALD:

So I, like, so that makes me think that even if I was gonna have to have very painful treatment, I would maybe get

CHELSEY DONN:

Some

TREY GERRALD:

several options as well, right?

TREY GERRALD:

And then I would feel ownership of the route I'm taking,

CHELSEY DONN:

That's a good point.

CHELSEY DONN:

Good point, Trey.

TREY GERRALD:

Obviously the humor is hilarious.

TREY GERRALD:

I, I don't, I don't think I ever anticipated discussing Valley of the Dolls in this podcast again after we did it on episode one.

CHELSEY DONN:

right?

CHELSEY DONN:

That's true.

CHELSEY DONN:

Full circle.

TREY GERRALD:

Or was it three?

CHELSEY DONN:

It was

CHELSEY DONN:

very early on.

CHELSEY DONN:

I think it was like

CHELSEY DONN:

one or

TREY GERRALD:

was Fifty Shades.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah, it was one, two, or three.

TREY GERRALD:

Something like that.

TREY GERRALD:

Anyway.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah, I didn't think Valley of the Dolls was gonna come up.

TREY GERRALD:

You know how silly fags can be,

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh, my God, Trey.

TREY GERRALD:

I think I can crown Jeffrey

CHELSEY DONN:

can crown Jeffrey.

CHELSEY DONN:

I'm

CHELSEY DONN:

ready.

TREY GERRALD:

do it.

VOICEOVER:

The queens are tabulating.

VOICEOVER:

Time for school.

CHELSEY DONN:

We did it!

CHELSEY DONN:

The Queens are unanimous, Jeffrey G, you are a review queen.

CHELSEY DONN:

Trey, you go first.

CHELSEY DONN:

Why did you decide to make Jeffrey G a review queen?

TREY GERRALD:

I mean, the only thing missing here is a picture, but I don't want to see a picture of Jeffrey G's bum, I don't think,

CHELSEY DONN:

Or maybe.

TREY GERRALD:

maybe, I don't know, but I just think that Jeffrey does a really great job here, obviously, like, we, you know, I don't know why you picked the topic, but, like, in hearing the topic, I thought this is going to be fun, like, it's an interesting, like, like, all of that goes along with proctology, and I think Jeffrey goes with that, right?

TREY GERRALD:

And they lean into it.

TREY GERRALD:

They make me feel like I can trust the doctor, I'm gonna be in good hands, like, it will be fine, And I, I think I have a better understanding of the clinic, having read this.

TREY GERRALD:

So, I mean, it's a Review Queen.

TREY GERRALD:

It does everything like I would want it to.

TREY GERRALD:

Why did you give Geoffrey a Review Queen crown?

CHELSEY DONN:

I just thought Jeffrey G.

CHELSEY DONN:

did a really good job.

CHELSEY DONN:

They made themselves the butt of the joke,

CHELSEY DONN:

pun intended, and they connected to, I think, a lot of areas that people reading reviews would want to know about, like the butt sign manner

CHELSEY DONN:

and the options and the valium, all those things I think were really queenly details to include, and it's hard to talk about a topic like this and be funny Without going too far, and I thought Geoffrey really struck the balance

CHELSEY DONN:

there with their humor, like it could have been really blue, it could have been too much, and I thought it was just the right amount,

CHELSEY DONN:

so for that reason, Geoffrey G, your Review Queen, In my eyes.

CHELSEY DONN:

Great job.

TREY GERRALD:

I hope we can keep this a winning streak, because Chelsey, Wee oh, wee oh, wee oh, wee oh, It's game time!

CHELSEY DONN:

That's right, Trey.

CHELSEY DONN:

It is game

CHELSEY DONN:

time.

CHELSEY DONN:

And I have made a custom game

CHELSEY DONN:

just for you and our listeners.

CHELSEY DONN:

So Trey,

TREY GERRALD:

idea where this is

CHELSEY DONN:

get that music queued up.

CHELSEY DONN:

Are you ready to play?

CHELSEY DONN:

Is that a top

CHELSEY DONN:

bottom?

CHELSEY DONN:

So, Trey, in 2014, BuzzFeed released an article of the top to bottom ranking of the 24 best man butts in Hollywood.

CHELSEY DONN:

I need you to identify the top 10.

CHELSEY DONN:

So I'm going to list a man butt, and you're going to tell me whether on this list of 24,

CHELSEY DONN:

this particular butt.

CHELSEY DONN:

is a top 10.

CHELSEY DONN:

Is this a top bottom?

CHELSEY DONN:

Are you ready?

CHELSEY DONN:

All right, Trey, starting with a good

CHELSEY DONN:

one.

CHELSEY DONN:

Oof, I get to look at the pictures over

CHELSEY DONN:

here.

TREY GERRALD:

area.

CHELSEY DONN:

I had a lot of fun doing the research for this game.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay, so, you Brad Pitt, is Brad Pitt a top bottom?

TREY GERRALD:

Well, when I think of Brad Pitt being attractive, I think of him in Thelma and Louise, which is, was his abs.

TREY GERRALD:

I don't remember his butt, but I know that he's so revered.

TREY GERRALD:

So I think the odds are high that he would be in the top of bottoms, but I can't physically picture his bottom.

TREY GERRALD:

So I'm not going to actually say no, really.

CHELSEY DONN:

Brad Pitt, whose butt I just sent you, I hope I sent it to you and not somebody else,

CHELSEY DONN:

no, yeah, I did send it to You is number four on the list of top, I mean, that's a nice tush.

TREY GERRALD:

I've seen better.

CHELSEY DONN:

What?

CHELSEY DONN:

Guys, it's beautiful.

CHELSEY DONN:

It has like those two little

TREY GERRALD:

A little dimples.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yes, I love the dimple.

TREY GERRALD:

This is a photograph in black and white and Brad Pitt is laying on his stomach.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah.

CHELSEY DONN:

It's very attractive.

CHELSEY DONN:

Also, I want to point out that this BuzzFeed article, because it was from 2014, like all of the images were not there.

CHELSEY DONN:

They were like the question

CHELSEY DONN:

mark, so I did have to individually Google.

CHELSEY DONN:

But it's just so that I could have a visual of what I'm

CHELSEY DONN:

talking about.

CHELSEY DONN:

So,

TREY GERRALD:

one for the team.

CHELSEY DONN:

I mean, it's an honor, truly.

CHELSEY DONN:

All

CHELSEY DONN:

Right.

CHELSEY DONN:

So if you're interested, you can find the best butt shot of Brad Pitt in the movie, Troy,

TREY GERRALD:

Um.

CHELSEY DONN:

apparent butt firmness is a nine.

CHELSEY DONN:

The overall thoughts are don't let the blur stop you from seeing a true half Godman's butt that is sweaty from the hot Grecian sun.

CHELSEY DONN:

All right, moving on.

CHELSEY DONN:

Justin Timberlake.

CHELSEY DONN:

Is that a top bottom?

TREY GERRALD:

Again, I had a poster of Justin Timberlake that was his abs and low cut jeans, but I don't remember his butt either, but I don't know.

TREY GERRALD:

We're not pro Justin anymore, culturally.

TREY GERRALD:

And I'm imagining Justin is not in the top ten, like, we need some like, melanin, and Justin is like, so far from that, even though he tried, I'm gonna say absolutely not,

CHELSEY DONN:

right,

CHELSEY DONN:

remember this was 2014,

TREY GERRALD:

gonna, I'm imagining pancakes, alright, it's fine,

CHELSEY DONN:

it's fine, it was a little hard for me to find like a picture of his butt, but apparently if you want to see his butt, you have to watch Friends with Benefits,

CHELSEY DONN:

the apparent firmness is a 7.

CHELSEY DONN:

1,

CHELSEY DONN:

mm

TREY GERRALD:

can't wait for David Beckham,

CHELSEY DONN:

okay, moving on.

CHELSEY DONN:

Joe Mangan,

CHELSEY DONN:

Joe Manganello yellow, actually

TREY GERRALD:

I, I know he's attractive, but again, I think of him as like, his bulk, not his butt, He's Italian.

TREY GERRALD:

So I'm going to say, yeah, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

CHELSEY DONN:

top 10 2014.

TREY GERRALD:

He was popular in 2014.

TREY GERRALD:

I'm going to say yes.

CHELSEY DONN:

That's right, Trey.

CHELSEY DONN:

And actually Joe Manganello is number one on the list, so

TREY GERRALD:

That's interesting.

CHELSEY DONN:

he takes the cake.

CHELSEY DONN:

Pun intended.

CHELSEY DONN:

Apparent butt firmness 9.

CHELSEY DONN:

5.

CHELSEY DONN:

You got to watch True Blood if you want to see that butt.

CHELSEY DONN:

This butt right here is a butt handed from the gods on two plates.

CHELSEY DONN:

One plate had one cheek.

CHELSEY DONN:

the other plate had the other cheek.

CHELSEY DONN:

Together they formed the bum beauty.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay, you're doing very well, actually.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay, Channing Tatum,

TREY GERRALD:

also very popular in 2014.

TREY GERRALD:

I'm going to say yes.

TREY GERRALD:

Really?

TREY GERRALD:

Good one, Chels.

CHELSEY DONN:

was shocked, 22,

CHELSEY DONN:

Apparently you can find the best view of the butt in the Vow, It has a 7.

CHELSEY DONN:

6 firmness rating, look at that butt, walk around that giant loft, No more thoughts on this butt, I, I'm gonna send you this butt, Trey, because, To me, I've been sending you all of the butts, by the way, but, To me, this is a nice touch.

TREY GERRALD:

been wowed by any of these bots, just FYI.

TREY GERRALD:

Do

CHELSEY DONN:

Interesting.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay.

CHELSEY DONN:

I want to touch on something that you said

CHELSEY DONN:

earlier

TREY GERRALD:

want to touch some bots?

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah.

CHELSEY DONN:

Mm hmm.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay.

TREY GERRALD:

Okay.

TREY GERRALD:

That's

CHELSEY DONN:

That's a nice.

CHELSEY DONN:

spot, right?

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay.

CHELSEY DONN:

Chris

CHELSEY DONN:

Hemsworth.

TREY GERRALD:

So I'm not sure which Hemsworth is which.

CHELSEY DONN:

This one was Thor.

TREY GERRALD:

Is that the one that dated Miley Cyrus and like was on all fours taking a video of a squirrel or talking to a squirrel or something?

CHELSEY DONN:

I think that was Liam.

TREY GERRALD:

Oh.

CHELSEY DONN:

I'm not sure,

TREY GERRALD:

Well I'm sure these superhero people, like, I'm gonna say yes.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah,

CHELSEY DONN:

that's right.

CHELSEY DONN:

This is the number two butt on the list and this butt, Trey.

CHELSEY DONN:

If you don't like this butt, I'm

TREY GERRALD:

Is it in the outfit, in the Marvel outfit or something?

CHELSEY DONN:

Well, I couldn't find that, so I had to find just the picture that I thought

TREY GERRALD:

Cause there are those pictures of Andrew Garfield as Spider Man and it's like padded, like his butt is padded.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah, no, this is, this is like an IRL butt

CHELSEY DONN:

shot.

CHELSEY DONN:

like wait until you see

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah, it's good.

TREY GERRALD:

It's also a good

CHELSEY DONN:

Oh my god.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yeah.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay.

CHELSEY DONN:

I'm moving on.

CHELSEY DONN:

Hugh Jackman.

TREY GERRALD:

Oh,

TREY GERRALD:

I mean, we know he's a dancer and also like, I feel like Wolverine all this 2014, very appropriate time.

TREY GERRALD:

I'm gonna say, yeah, I'm gonna say yes.

CHELSEY DONN:

right, Trey.

CHELSEY DONN:

Hugh Jackman is number six on the list.

TREY GERRALD:

picture's not

CHELSEY DONN:

I just sent you, I know, but that was the best I could find.

CHELSEY DONN:

But I mean, still, looks like a nice touch to me.

CHELSEY DONN:

You can see the button X Men Originals Wolverine.

CHELSEY DONN:

8 8 firmness, this is called, Butt runs through a field of green and hides in a shed, It's adorable how scared this butt is of the world, but there's nothing to be scared of, We love you butt and give you only the best things in life, Jake Gyllenhaal.

TREY GERRALD:

Huh.

CHELSEY DONN:

Top 10.

TREY GERRALD:

Huh.

TREY GERRALD:

Huh.

TREY GERRALD:

I'm stumped.

TREY GERRALD:

I'm in a swing.

TREY GERRALD:

I'll say Jake Gyllenhaal is in the top ten in 2014.

TREY GERRALD:

Oh, dear.

CHELSEY DONN:

Sorry, Jake Gyllenhaal is actually number 13 on the

CHELSEY DONN:

list.

CHELSEY DONN:

He didn't quite make the top 10,

TREY GERRALD:

homophobic because he was in Brokeback Mountain.

CHELSEY DONN:

I mean, there's, yeah, that's what I mean, there's some stuff to talk about at the end of this.

CHELSEY DONN:

Alright, moving on,

TREY GERRALD:

It's a bad picture.

CHELSEY DONN:

Zac

CHELSEY DONN:

Efron!

TREY GERRALD:

Yes.

TREY GERRALD:

This is a picture of Neighbors where he's naked on the toilet.

CHELSEY DONN:

Well, I don't have that one, but I couldn't get the butt in the shot, but I had to include it just because I was like, that's a hot shot, and the other one was like, not that great, but I'm sending Trey the pictures.

TREY GERRALD:

There's a picture.

TREY GERRALD:

Yes, that's the picture, right.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah, how did I know?

CHELSEY DONN:

I'm sorry, but he's so hot.

CHELSEY DONN:

I can't even.

CHELSEY DONN:

That awkward moment is the best place to find the butt, which I think is that toilet shot.

CHELSEY DONN:

Another side butt worthy of a million front facing butts.

CHELSEY DONN:

Zach's toilet pose proves butts can take any form and still be perfect.

CHELSEY DONN:

He's beautiful.

CHELSEY DONN:

The underwear shot is not as cute though.

TREY GERRALD:

No, but you can tell it's nice.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yes.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay.

TREY GERRALD:

He's number nine?

TREY GERRALD:

That's interesting.

CHELSEY DONN:

Okay.

CHELSEY DONN:

Chris Evans,

TREY GERRALD:

Mm hmm.

TREY GERRALD:

I get the Hemsworth, Heaven, all of that

CHELSEY DONN:

I know same, same,

TREY GERRALD:

Chris Evans.

TREY GERRALD:

Yeah, sure.

TREY GERRALD:

I'll say yes.

CHELSEY DONN:

Trey, that is correct, Chris Evans is actually, can you guess what number he is?

TREY GERRALD:

He's probably, well, I'm going to say 10 because it

CHELSEY DONN:

I just saw it, so it's number 10, he's

CHELSEY DONN:

number 10 on the list,

TREY GERRALD:

guy.

TREY GERRALD:

He's from Varsity Blues.

TREY GERRALD:

He's from Varsity Blues.

CHELSEY DONN:

Yes,

CHELSEY DONN:

but you should apparently watch Not Another Teen Movie if you want to get the real

CHELSEY DONN:

pre Captain America excellent tush.

TREY GERRALD:

he has the whipped cream

CHELSEY DONN:

Yes.

TREY GERRALD:
