Welcome back to Make a Difference.
We have been on a hiatus for quite a while and I have reached a point where I believe that I can return to the regular production of the podcast and keep up with the daily schedule.
Today's quote from Napoleon Hill states: “Don’t wait. The time will never be just right.”
I think if represents the right frame of mind to start a new
We can always wait for the "right" time, however there really is no right time. The correct time to start something is when the idea is "hot" and you in the flow with your idea.
If you want to hear more about being in the flow, check out the work of Mihaly Csikezentmihaly and his work on Being in the Flow. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mihaly_Csikszentmihalyi
Consider what waiting for the right is really a defense mechanism that people employ to avoid actually getting to the work at hand. By putting it off, one does not need to get to the real work at hand; DOING SOMETHING!
By putting it off the idea can fade along with impulse that lead you believe it was a good idea in the 1st place. These can allow other ideas to take their place and the ideas you had fades in to the past.
As you look toward capturing ideas, I would encourage you to write it down while the idea is strong in your mind. I use Trello to capture my ideas where I can add additional notes and sort ideas at later date. This allows the idea to be captured and then focus on steps to move it forward. You can lean more about Trello in the show note link below.
Let bring our ideas out of retirement. You have something to offer and help someone else and can do it by just moving forward with your ideas to make your world a better place. Let's start today to make a difference
