What if … we tended to the unfolding of our lives with the care and patience of a gardener?

Not rushing, nor imposing our will on what wants to emerge. What if we simply observed what the universe is already cultivating through us?

It is so common however, for our excitement, enthusiasm, and curiosity to want to rush the process as the delicate sprouts emerge.

Perhaps we get a glimpse - then assume - that we know what form is taking shape. Notice that. Then resist the urge, the impulse, to resume control.

If tended with minimal intervention, what emerges may surprise and delight us beyond anything we might have imagined.

That’s how I choose to tend the garden …
