IT’S FLOCKING RIDICULOUS! (KTVU FOX 2)
A North Carolina police officer is accused of using her department’s Flock license-plate-reader system 31 times for personal purposes, allegedly tracking her boyfriend’s ex-wife. An internal audit uncovered the searches, and investigators say she denied using the system personally when questioned. Nothing says “public safety” like turning police surveillance into Find My Ex.

WOKE COKE (New York Post)
Coca-Cola’s personalized-can filters came under fire after testing reportedly found bizarre inconsistencies: some political and religious phrases were rejected while other controversial phrases got through. Coca-Cola says its rules prohibit certain political, religious, trademarked and inappropriate messages. The company acknowledged a technical issue and paused personalization while reviewing it.

ON GOLDEN POND
Two men allegedly posed as federal agents and tried to convince an 85-year-old Washington, D.C., man to turn more than $200,000 into gold bars for “safekeeping.” Fortunately, the gold dealer smelled something besides commission, warned the victim and contacted authorities. Police arrested the suspects when they allegedly arrived to collect the gold.
