📍 This is exactly how you are going to burnout, proof, and AI proof your job and your business.

📍 Long and short of this episode is that it becomes down to embracing more of your humanity and all of the things that AI can't do. We'll list them out in a second and I'll elaborate more of what I mean in that and how you can do it in your life. But before we dive in, before I forget, have you downloaded Soma yet?

She is a chat GBT based, co-regulation, co life, co-business coach co. Everything. She's based off of my book. It's like as if I was, if a coach in your back pocket. She's so freaking amazing. I literally get messages from people every day being like, I cried and I was, I let go of this like attachment and abandonment that I had and now I'm able to move forward with my launch with, I've been procrastinating for a year.

Or I was at a conference and I was able to not overindulge in food because I was anxious, and instead I used Soma and I like actually networked with my friends and everything was totally okay.

She's helping people when they wake up and they already feel overwhelmed, map things out and pick exactly number one, what their body needs to move forward that day, and also what their business needs or what their job needs to move forward that day. She's outstanding. And on top of that, I've been getting so many amazing emails about.

My work about, and I've just, I'm so proud of my clients and I've also been through this big, kind of like void, weird transformation identity thing. And two things. Number one, I. One-on-one coaching is open again, hasn't been open for a while, hasn't felt right. There's been a new offer coming through. It is different to the last.

It's not about building your business, and pushing forward and making it work. It's like, okay, how can I get creative and have different streams of sustainable income? How can I enjoy the job that I already have? How can I have financial security and success and fulfillment? And we're pulling on trauma therapy and parts work and so many different things.

And I'll be honest, this comes because I've been inspired by my clients. I had a particular client show up to the coaching call this week in the academy. And I was so proud of her. She joined because she was like, I think I wanna build a business. I'm not really sure. I don't know if I should be here, but I know that I wanna help people in this specific way.

And also I do have this job, which provides financial security, and I'm like anxious about losing that. And how much of this is attachment? And I should just like be resilient and a risk taker and move forward and how much of it is smart? And she'd kind of like been in that place for a while. She shows up to the court and she's like, you know, I realize that I can actually have it all.

I can have financial stability. I can stay in my work. I don't have to go into the like. The weird politics and like emotional ups and downs because now I have tools to not be able to do that thanks to being inside of the academy. And I continue to move forward on what I want my next dream to be and what my next step is and I can study for that and I can get equipped and certified and I can learn the skills to be able to do that.

And I've just been so proud, especially because these clients, and I promise we're gonna get into the AI real quick, but I've. Like these clients go deep. We had another client and she was snapping at her partner because, you know, like she was focused on work. It was annoying her and we traced it back to her taking emotional responsibility for others and we set her up so that she doesn't have to do that.

So she can have connection with her partner and also focus on her work. And I'm so grateful that I get to do this. Like I'm in this phase of a bit of a wild West where there's new things coming, but it hasn't fully formed yet. And I'm grateful for you guys, for listening, for engaging, for letting me know what you appreciate and allowing me to do this work because I truly feel that it's like God-given skills and I wouldn't be able to use them.

And. Feel the satisfaction that I get from supporting you guys if you weren't here. It's really a little, I'm appreciative of, of your presence and for seeing me and supporting me, by, by everything that you do, by liking, by sharing, by talking, by engaging, yeah, by being here. So let's dive into the show.

Um. Ai. Okay. AI is really freaking good at so many things, and it's just getting better. It can make your emails, it can make your content, it can schedule your day. It can design launch strategies, it can run spreadsheets. It can tell you how to give feedback to your colleagues and make you a perfectly macro balanced meal.

All of these things. But it, it can't understand the nuances of life. It can't be with somebody and co-regulate with their nervous system. In the exact way that it requires, in a really, really deep way that another person really trusts when they're going through a hard moment. It can kind of do it, but it can't replace it because it can't see the way that somebody's eyebrow moves and respond in an intuitive way.

It can't access all of your wisdom and experience and integrity in high stressful situations and hold all of the different plays. It can only hold one portion of that, even if you feed it all of the information. It can't access ideas that haven't been said before. It's just regurgitating information back to you based off of what it knows.

It can't find those hidden gems of ideas that haven't even come through of creativity, of innovation, of different ways to do things. That is why thought work or embodied work where there's nuance and there's presence and there's emotional in inte intelligent and somatic wisdom that is your edge. As we begin to integrate AI into our lives, and I'll be honest, I think that is a bit of a, a bit of competition like.

The leaders who will thrive the most as we move through this are gonna be the ones who can stay the most present, the most grounded, the most rested, the most in tune with their bodies, and not absorbed into ai, but actually using it in a grounded way that doesn't contribute to overwhelm and burnout and feelings of scatteredness.

Because these devices actually take us out of our bodies. They make us feel overwhelmed. They're not really helpful. For, but we need to be able to engage with them and use them in an emotionally intelligent, strategic way in these really uncertain, fast moving environments like your career, or if you're a founder, or if you're an entrepreneur, if you work for yourself, or you're leading a family or anything in this economy.

And what we'll notice is that the way that we use these devices will contribute to our burnout, and that will be for everyone. Or it will make it not happen. You just have to be really smart about how you do that. So burnout isn't emotional. It's not just the, you having lots of things to do. It's not just about your workload.

There's actually a physiological, process that's occurring inside of your body. When your body is taking on information and energy and it's going into a slightly activated space, 'cause it's processing all of that and it becomes a little bit too much, which means it's just, it seems like a slight stress.

Your brain begins to divert attention away from the prefrontal cortex. That's the part of you that is smart and wise. It's like your higher self. It's creative, it's got good problem solving. It knows that we're all on the same team. It's responding in a, in a healthy way, and it's strategic and it can access all the best parts of your skillset.

But if it feels like there's too much going on, or it feels threatened, or somebody else is having a big emotion, you're not really sure how to do with it, or AI is threatening your job or whatever it is. Well, you don't know how you're gonna, I don't know, make the next sales goal or whatever that is. Even if you are really smart, and even if you are perfect and you care for yourself perfectly, you, your brilliance will not be accessible.

I,

and we can see this in studies, right? So on one hand we have ai, and on one hand we have wellbeing or burnout prevention. And they work together. And when we learn to optimize both of them and we care for both of them and we use both of them,

the gains are insane. So studies show that companies that pair with AI and human centered leadership, two of them at the same time, and I'll put the sources below in the show notes, actually grow revenue by 30%. Additionally, for every $1 invested in wellbeing and burnout, prude prevention companies see a $4 return.

Now, I'm not here to do maths with you, but 30%, $4, that's like a lot of money for every $1 that you're investing in AI and burnout prevention. So it's not just about being ethical and about having wellbeing. It's just intelligent because I don't know about you, but my life is better. I feel like I have an abundance of money.

I'm a better person, and I'm able to spend that money in ways that are aligned with my values and support my community, and I think that you are too. So let's look at three steps to embrace the future of work strategically use AI and burnout proof your career. Number one, regulate first. If you have been here for more than a second, you know that the first pillar of the body-based business methodology is regulation.

Dysregulated individuals are going to be reactive. Urgent disconnected. Your, your jaw is tight, you're running around. You think you're being productive by responding to that email straight away. But then you're like, did I really respond in that? The best way you feel like you're going maybe on autopilot.

There's like this looming fear of like what will happen if, and probably your relationships with your coworkers or your team members or even your audience. They are stressed. They don't feel flowing. They, there's like a bracing or a perf. You feel like you have to be a certain type of yourself in order for things to work well.

So number one, regulate. If you go to my book, chapter four of Somatic Intelligence for Success, there is a big list to anchor before acting. If you're not into buying that, it's $10 on Kindle. Go to the free PDF nervous system regulation tools without much privacy time or space down below in the show notes.

And I don't know. Nervous system regulation online. Number two, heal the fear-based stories. So. Let's be honest, you're not really worried about ai. What's happening is AI and, and burnout, and even just the idea of being in this job for longer, or being in this business for longer, it's pulling up fears of being relevant, of not catching up, of not being good enough, of being left behind, like pure, primal fears.

That primal fear of they're not gonna respect me. I'm not gonna have the resources that I need. The primal fear of they don't love me, I'm not good enough. I'm gonna be left alone, cold in the dark and abandoned. That is what your body is experiencing because this is uncertain. It doesn't know. That is a normal reaction for a body, that you are more than the nervous system that was created millennia ago, and that now is the limbic system inside of your body.

You can use somatic tools to. Unpack the imposter syndrome or the scarcity. Scarcity or the feeling that you have to be really productive all of the time and never have for any free time that you can't, that you feel comfortable using and your constant way of like filling your free time or that feeling of like something is off Chapter 10, inside of my book, somatic Intelligence for Success, or just run through the podcast here.

There's so many. And then we gotta use systems. You are already making so many decisions every day, and I feel like with AI, because of its way to generate information and give you information like you're just taking on so much inside of your brain and. You'll notice that you can like heal and regulate all day, but there's at a, there's a point where like it's just, it's not enough.

And for a lot of people that's because we don't have systems in place, we. If we're always trying to bring ourself back to baseline, then we don't have energy to be creative or to have fun or to think of new ways to build business or have partnerships or engage with our colleagues and our coworkers. So you need to create systems and protocols that keep you in the flow state that prioritize deep, deep work because your, what's gonna set you apart is your ability to do something different.

Yeah. That's why I'm saying it's thought leadership, it's thought work. It's the thinking work. It's the, it's the creative work that, that you can produce something that is different to what chat GPT is doing. That is what is going to make you irreplaceable. So it's the emotional, the work. Flow. So create protocols and systems that create predictable safety and minimize the amount of energy that your body needs to use to just do life so that you can put that energy into genius work.

In summary, you don't need to outpace ai. You don't need to out. You need to out human it. This hit home, send it to somebody like you, a visionary and a heart-centered woman who's trying to do it best in this world. And if you're ready to lead and scale with nervous system alignment, check out the show notes for group coaching, one-on-one coaching.

I'm really excited to share this one with you. And a pilot program for Somar that is coming out. Make sure you're on your email list 'cause I email about once a week and you get all that updated information. You got this. Have a wonderful day.
