Please enjoy “A Failed Reality”,

Speaker:

a poem by Akronia

Speaker:

Interstellar dimensions

Speaker:

cross linked into a parallax

Speaker:

Swift chambers slump into an ill-fated oblivion

Speaker:

Fragmented abyss of a pain

Speaker:

cornered and tortured

Speaker:

It all comes together,

Speaker:

In an exhalated thrall

Speaker:

A split, gashed alien

Speaker:

was once native here

Speaker:

Its land was claimed and saw his deportation

Speaker:

Uncaring hermits stared pale and numb

Speaker:

An Ingenious plan to divorce his very soul,

Speaker:

they exclaimed What was left of the soul of the widowed

Speaker:

you may ask? A world with so many parts integrated, yet so divided

Speaker:

Refused into absolution with no rhyme or purpose

Speaker:

Yet only those deemed useful can accompany me into my plan.

Speaker:

My reality has failed me,

Speaker:

so I will look unto another one

Speaker:

An escape that never saw the light of day

Speaker:

Your reality has succeeded in destroying my own

Speaker:

It was a just cause in your eyes,

Speaker:

but a bittersweet curse for myself.

Speaker:

This land is of a toxic nature,

Speaker:

it splits the delusions

Speaker:

Its racing phases an omen to Io,

Speaker:

impregnated with madness it seems

Speaker:

Yet this is the path that I alone just walk upon

Speaker:

It is this land that opens mercilessly

Speaker:

onto my parallel frame.
