The Superhero Show Show #431
Heartstopper
The Taste Buds review the entire first season of Heartstopper on Netflix, plus an interview with The Nerd Byword!
On an all-new episode of The Superhero Show Show, Cassie and the Boyz are reviewing the hit show Heartstopper from start to finish! They discovered kind of late that the show is based on a graphic novel, so they're doing their due diligence and getting it all done now! Despite being based on a comic book, there are no superpowers in this show. Does that mean that they will hate it? Or does being able to be endlessly charming and adorable count as a superpower? Join in with them as they, along with Nick and Charlie, journey to love!
Then, take a journey of a different sort: to X-TASmania! The Taste Buds are covering the fourth season episode Proteus, Part I! Moira and Banshee need to talk about Kevin, because he's becoming the raged out mutant Proteus! So it's Professor X and his X'ed-Men to the rescue, flying to Muir Island to save the day. On the flight over, Chuck reminisces about his past, and we get to see the 12 or 13 divorces Charles and Moira went through while they were apart!
Then, Mike sits down with the hosts of The Nerd Byword podcast! In part 1 of the interview, Kris and Dave share their personal nerd origin stories, how they started their show, and why toxic fandoms are the worst. Tune in next week for part 2!
All of that, plus reviews and discussions of all of this week's shows, including Superman and Lois, Riverdale, Fear the Walking Dead, and Young Justice: Phantoms! It's almost too much show! All of that, and so much more, on an all-new Superhero Show Show!
