Welcome to the show.

Well, not really a show.

This is me giving you a little bit of an update as to what

is happening with the show.

So hi, it is Johnny, from Speaking Influence seem to be Podfluence.

I know some of you have been expecting that the new show, the relaunch

was going to be happening this month, July as I'm releasing this.

And some things have been going on here, good things that does mean

it's going to be a bit longer.

I started a new job working with Kevin Chemidlin and the team at Grow The

Show, and because of that, because it's a full-time job as well, I really

want to commit the time and energy needed into working with Kevin and

the team and delivering the best of me that I can deliver to that

commitment that I've made to them.

So I'm honestly very excited for this role.

I really did not expect that I would be landing a position working with

Kevin and his team at Grow The Show.

And honestly, a wonderful people and I'm learning a lot about sales, about

podcasting I and all sorts of things that I would never have imagined at the start

of the year that I would be moving into.

I'm thrilled to be working in the podcasting industry and helping other

podcasters out, helping them get on the path to growth and monetization

and becoming full time podcasters for those who are looking to do that.

And certainly I feel about Podfluence when it is officially launched is going to be

a very nice companion to Grow The Show.

And in my conversation with Kevin, he's agreed as well.

So that's a very nice alignment between what I'm going to be doing with confluence

and what he's doing with grow the show.

So I hope you'll check out his show as well, especially if you are a podcaster

who is looking to have audience growth, and monetize your show or maybe have

more business coming through to you through podcasting and perhaps even make

your own podcast a full-time interest.

But for Podfluence, whilst there's some amazing guests coming up, I mean,

I'm still going to be recording some interviews and I still have some amazing

interviews in the bank already with people like Bob Gentle, who was great

to chat to Lee Carter, talking about influence Simon, Lancaster, who I spoke

to as he launched his new book 'Connect',

I know some of you are really looking forward to that episode coming out

and it should have been this month.

That was the original plan, but, you know, Best laid plans and all that.

It has been the right decision for me to decide, to take a break for the summer.

Which was initially just going to be August.

But now I realized August is not the best months to be launching a show.

So I'm actually taking a couple of months off.

I'm still going to be producing episodes and getting stuff ready.

I'm just not going to be publishing them.

So I'm taking a bit of pressure off myself to stick to that publication

schedule for the next few months.

And then going to be coming back bigger, better, stronger, faster, all of that, in

September with Podfluence, with a new show and a new theme music, new descriptions.

I mean just everything.

I'm learning so much about podcasting from working with a group of professional

podcasters and also, just from Kevin who is such an expert on these things.

So I hope that you'll be enjoying Podfluence when it does come.

Just know there's not going to be any episodes coming out until

September, whilst we take this break.

So, please do stick with us for that.

And I hope that you understand why the show is going to be going away.

I know about, I.

I'm already having those worries of that entrepreneurial, that podcast

guilt of taking breaks when I've been doing such a consistent publication

schedule with the show and that guilt is not like I'm not going to be doing

anything, but I'm not going to be doing the podcast publication for a little

while because I want to get my relaunch

right.

And I want to make the show even bigger and better than it is now.

And sorry, I hope you will understand that, and bear with me through

this time, and I'm very excited for what we'll be bringing you when

the show does eventually relaunch.

In September.

For you listening wherever you are right now, and for my guests who are expecting

those episodes to be coming out in July.

It's going to be a little bit longer, but I hope you understand,

and that you'll bare with me.
