DAVE ASKS: What can we do to make the show more of a blessing? Welcome to the 90-minute show of The David Spoon Experience. This 60-minutes is all about: 1) Just like Solomon, God gave Israel many blessings and great favor. But, by way of appreciation, they intermingled with the world around them to such a degree that they became polluted. We aren't supposed to withdraw from the world. But we are not supposed to look like the world either. 2) When the world becomes a person's god, it creates disaster. It's all about the Big G, not the little g. We talked about that holy means being separated. But we have big problems when you can't tell the difference between Christians and worldly leaders. 3) Ezra'a reaction may seem silly to us—pulling his hair. And that would be part of the problem. Not that the world is so ungodly that it continually invents new ways of doing evil, with the world influencers leading the way. But that we Christians don't have a stronger reaction when the church morphs into worldliness, and we are not nauseated.
