. Drafted by the New Jersey Devils 2nd overall in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft, Brendan Shanahan retired in 2009 after playing the last three seasons of his career with the New York Rangers. When I spoke to Shanahan, he had just begun working for the NHL as Vice President of Hockey and Business Development. Shanahan talks with me about his hockey career, his very brief film career, and some of what he would like to do in the future.
