The truth is, Christians stumble. We mess up. We fail to reflect God well. And too often, that becomes the excuse for others to dismiss faith altogether. But here’s the reminder: our failures don’t define who Christ is.

 Ever notice how quick we are to highlight the flaws we see in others, especially when they stumble and go tumbling down? We're like, yeah, I see you down there. You're just a mess! Look at you! You can't get yourself together. We do this to believers. Our missteps and poor judgment become this stage for people to say, you know, see, this is, this is why I don't follow Jesus.

They're all a bunch of frauds, a bunch of hypocrites. I gotta tell you something. You could technically. Say that to me because my lack of ability, I have a very big lack of ability to be a perfect Christian, and you will see me fall, you will see me stumble. But that is no reflection on the truth of who our holy God, who Christ is.

Zero reflection. What it is, is a reflection of who I am, the fact that I am a sinner. You're gonna see that from time to time. You'll see it a lot. But what I do say proudly is that. I am a sinner who loves God very much, who often doesn't honor him very well, and I need that reminder as well that we don't follow sinners, we follow Christ and through him our lives are gonna be that testament to His grace.

That's the Jesus we want people to see.
