Speaker:

The Earth desires your feeling.

She desires your tears.

Speaker:

She desires you exactly as you are.

Speaker:

And so you're bringing more of yourself

into this world through simply allowing

Speaker:

yourself to

Speaker:

feel.

Speaker:

Hello

Speaker:

and welcome back to

Remember Why You Are Here,

Speaker:

a podcast for seekers and sensitives

where you can relax, receive,

Speaker:

reconnect to yourself and remember

the most important thing of all why

Speaker:

you're here. I'm Asia

Suler, author, teacher,

Speaker:

Earth Intuitive,

Speaker:

and this is our reading

for the month of November.

Speaker:

So every month I tune into an

intuitive reading for the month ahead,

Speaker:

picking a card for this month ahead.

Speaker:

And the card for this month was a really

powerful one. It's a really potent one.

Speaker:

And it's making me feel that

Speaker:

there's going to be some

big stuff up in November,

Speaker:

but big stuff coming up

in the internal landscape,

Speaker:

and coming up so that big openings

can come in on the other side.

Speaker:

So this month we're having

themes of emotional cleansing and

Speaker:

clarity up for us as well as

releasing built up charges,

Speaker:

integration before a peaceful plateau.

Speaker:

and spiritual catch up.

Speaker:

So let's go ahead and get into the

s for this month of November,:

Speaker:

For this month's reading,

Speaker:

I chose a card from the SOOTH oracle deck,

Speaker:

a beautiful deck by the artist Rima

Staines with writing by my beloved friend

Speaker:

and the incredible

author Sylvia Linsteadt.

Speaker:

The Oracle Deck SOOTH is

Speaker:

kind of a journey unto itself.

Speaker:

I've always loved that

they named this deck SOOTH.

Speaker:

Sooth comes from an old

English word that means truth,

Speaker:

like as in soothsayer.

Speaker:

And this word also comes from an

older European verb that meant to

Speaker:

be. So there's this aspect

here with this deck of,

Speaker:

what Rima and Sylvia

were tuning into here,

Speaker:

is connecting to the truth of existence.

Speaker:

This truth that really allows us

to recognize where we're at in our

Speaker:

being, but also to speak into

being, to write into being,

Speaker:

our futures.

Speaker:

So the card that I picked for this month

is our Lady of the Thousand Waters.

Speaker:

On the circular card, there is

a woman shrouded in a blue veil,

Speaker:

crying, overflowing waterfall

of tears through her fingertips.

Speaker:

And there's two vessels, one

upwards and one downwards,

Speaker:

in these gestures of both

receiving and letting

Speaker:

go. It's truly a gorgeous card.

Speaker:

The card itself in this deck

is one of the nine houses.

Speaker:

The houses in this deck are

described as still points,

Speaker:

as sanctuaries for the seeker

after many miles in the forest.

Speaker:

So there's this sense of the houses in

this deck being this benevolent resting

Speaker:

place, this place where you can

get what you need to keep going.

Speaker:

They are places of comfort, healing,

Speaker:

and they reflect back to you the bigger

picture of the landscape that you're

Speaker:

moving through.

Speaker:

So this is how the creators of

this deck describe the suit of

Speaker:

houses. And so this card,

Speaker:

our Lady of the Thousand

Waters, is one of these houses.

Speaker:

And Sylvia's writing for this

description was just so beautiful that I

Speaker:

wanted to go ahead and read the whole

thing because I just always find

Speaker:

Sylvia's writing to be

absolutely transporting.

Speaker:

So wherever you're at,

Speaker:

get comfortable as we sink into this

reading for our Lady of a Thousand Waters.

Speaker:

So I'm going to read her description,

which is part pros, part poem,

Speaker:

part landscape that you step into. And

then I'm going to talk about my reading,

Speaker:

what I picked up on, what

came in through my guides,

Speaker:

the messages that are inherent

in this truly beautiful card.

Speaker:

Our Lady of the Thousand Waters.

Speaker:

There is a valley just beyond

the ones you know. In it,

Speaker:

the ground shines with water

that flows from a thousand to

Speaker:

underground springs. The water

is cold around your ankles.

Speaker:

It flows up out of total

darkness between smooth stones.

Speaker:

It runs in a thousand silver streams.

Speaker:

The sun is just beginning to rise and

suddenly the ground all around you is

Speaker:

blinding with the light

that shines off the water.

Speaker:

You make your way up the valley through

the shallow silver water to the base of

Speaker:

a low rocky cliff where a small stone

chapel has been fashioned around the

Speaker:

thousandth spring. Here the water

gushes up from a stone cleft,

Speaker:

clear and cold as winter. It

pours into a smooth edged basin,

Speaker:

then out into a little

channel into the daylight.

Speaker:

Our lady of the 1000 waters sits

softly, one hand on the vessel,

Speaker:

one hand in the water, listening.

Speaker:

Day and night she watches and

she listens to what sings up out

Speaker:

of darkness. The amphora

is as old as daybreak.

Speaker:

It is the vessel of returning to life,

Speaker:

the vessel of filling up again after

loss, the vessel of miraculous fish,

Speaker:

the vessel of grieving, the

vessel of the tears of the world,

Speaker:

the vessel of the poetic speech of bards,

the vessel of the land's guardians,

Speaker:

the vessel of deepest emotion, the

vessel of the heart purified by weeping,

Speaker:

the vessel of lifegiving rain,

Speaker:

the vessel that ends drought and wildfire,

Speaker:

the vessel that cools rage and

brings peace again to places of war.

Speaker:

'What grief...' she says to you

as you approach her, pouring cool,

Speaker:

sweet water over your hands and feet,

Speaker:

'have you been carrying for too

long because it hasn't felt safe to

Speaker:

cry?'' And what joy...' she says,

Speaker:

placing the jug into your arm as

tenderly as if it were an infant child,

Speaker:

'have you locked away as only a memory,

that longs to be a living spring?'

Speaker:

Go walk in my waters, drink of

my waters, bathe in my waters,

Speaker:

weep in my waters, become my waters,

Speaker:

until you are at peace.

Speaker:

You can do nothing but obey her,

Speaker:

for her words carry a compassion

so tender and so soft,

Speaker:

there is nothing hard left in you.

Speaker:

You carry the amphora against your

body. It is as heavy as a small child.

Speaker:

You dip the rim of the vessel in

and bring it to your mouth to drink.

Speaker:

The tears come then, sudden and

sure-flowing down your face and neck,

Speaker:

down upon your hands, down where

the sun has touched the water.

Speaker:

They come for a long time,

Speaker:

pouring through you without

any attempt to slow them.

Speaker:

Where they touch the water, it

receives them like little minnows,

Speaker:

like fish of great import,

like life returned."

Speaker:

So I hope in that reading

of those beautiful words,

Speaker:

you were able to feel your connection

with Our Lady of the Thousand Waters.

Speaker:

Maybe she came to you, maybe she

spoke to you through those words,

Speaker:

spoke to you through the lines

that stood out to you that were

Speaker:

limbed like a leaf in sunshine.

Pay attention to that.

Speaker:

Pay attention to whatever it is

that came forward for you in that

Speaker:

piece of poetry.

Speaker:

And now I want to move into

my reading based on this card,

Speaker:

what came through for me,

what my guides showed me,

Speaker:

and what we can look at as a map

through the landscape of this month

Speaker:

ahead.

Speaker:

There was this immediate feeling when I

picked this card of this invitation this

Speaker:

month to embrace what I'm calling

the poetic or imaginal realm,

Speaker:

this realm of rich creation and artistry

Speaker:

and poetry, these realms that are

governed by emotion and feeling,

Speaker:

realms that we cannot access

unless we are willing to feel,

Speaker:

unless we are willing to

have our deep emotions.

Speaker:

So there's a call this month for

allowing yourself to go there,

Speaker:

that there's creative fertility in

these places of deep emotion and deep

Speaker:

feeling,

Speaker:

and that this realm that I'm

calling the imaginal realm

Speaker:

or the poetic realm,

Speaker:

that this is actually really

important for any kind of creation.

Speaker:

And our passport into this

realm is being willing to

Speaker:

feel.

Speaker:

There is a sense with this month

that we are in a little bit of a

Speaker:

transitional time,

Speaker:

like this transitional watery month in the

Speaker:

midst of this longer journey,

in the midst of this hike.

Speaker:

So this sense of being en route,

Speaker:

like you have been building

something this fall.

Speaker:

You have been working

on something this fall,

Speaker:

and you're still moving towards this.

Speaker:

And yet this month there's this

sanctuary in the midst of this

Speaker:

hike, in the midst of this climb. And

this is a little bit of a respite.

Speaker:

And it might not feel like

a respite at all moments

Speaker:

because there is this deep emotionality

piece that wants to move through you,

Speaker:

these deeper tides of feeling

that are coming up as energy,

Speaker:

as charges, that are wanting to be felt,

Speaker:

that are actually giving you deeper

access to the imaginal realm,

Speaker:

to the poetic realm, if you

allow yourself to feel it,

Speaker:

if you allow the waters

to move through you.

Speaker:

There's a sense of a glimmer of a

project or an idea that has been

Speaker:

carrying you and is going

to continue to carry you on.

Speaker:

And while that is going

to remain to be true,

Speaker:

that this glimmer is going to

carry you on, at the same time,

Speaker:

acknowledge the parts of you that want

to rush and then give yourself permission

Speaker:

to rest. Give yourself permission to

feel, give yourself permission to emote.

Speaker:

There will be time in this month

of feeling and respite for you to

Speaker:

take stock of all you've

done, how far you've come,

Speaker:

to really embrace that and see that,

Speaker:

and be able to reflect back

with tenderness on all the

Speaker:

big transitions that you've moved through

to get yourself to this point in time.

Speaker:

And there is...

Speaker:

while I say this is a time of

respite and inviting stillness and

Speaker:

inviting yourself into this process

of allowing deep feeling to move

Speaker:

through you, there's also

a movement to this month,

Speaker:

but it's the movement of water. It's

the idea of stillness and motion.

Speaker:

It's like allowing the inner movement,

Speaker:

this inner movement of the inner tides,

Speaker:

and that will create so much space and

so much outer movement in your life,

Speaker:

if you are willing to make the space

and the time for that this month.

Speaker:

There is a sense of a spiritual

transition happening at this

Speaker:

time. There's something going on

behind the scenes inside of you,

Speaker:

in your deeper recesses of yourself,

Speaker:

the caves within you, the thousand

springs within you that want to flow.

Speaker:

And there's an emotional processing

that always goes along with spiritual

Speaker:

transition. So yes,

Speaker:

this is going to be a

month of emotional release,

Speaker:

of cleansing waters,

Speaker:

of feeling emotions and allowing

emotions to flow through you.

Speaker:

There's this thing with emotion

where oftentimes we feel emotion

Speaker:

and with the feeling of the emotion,

we can get really focused on,

Speaker:

hyper-focused on, attached to,

the story with the emotion:

Speaker:

I'm feeling this way because of this.

I'm feeling this way and it means this.

Speaker:

I'm feeling this way and I need to do

something about it with X, y, or Z.

Speaker:

But there's an invitation

this month to just feel the

Speaker:

feelings.

Speaker:

And the way to do this is to

literally turn your attention

Speaker:

inwards and notice it as

a charge within your body.

Speaker:

Charge is not negative, it's not

positive, it's just a charge.

Speaker:

And to feel it like an

electrical storm or like waters

Speaker:

moving through you this month. What is

the sensation of movement within you?

Speaker:

What does it feel like?

Can you name the texture?

Speaker:

Can you name the density or the weight?

Speaker:

Taking some of the judgment and

some of the story out of it,

Speaker:

can you be with the feeling?

Speaker:

Be with it like the feeling

of water moving through

Speaker:

tributary or the feeling

of water over your hands.

Speaker:

Can you be with your emotions

and your feelings in that way?

Speaker:

So much can happen for us and our

lives when we're willing to just

Speaker:

be with what we're feeling.

Speaker:

And a lot of what we

experience as blockages

Speaker:

is actually our inability

to just feel the feeling,

Speaker:

to just feel the charge, to cry the tears,

Speaker:

to allow it to be there.

Speaker:

And so while this kind of inner

work doesn't always look glamorous,

Speaker:

unless you're a glamorous crier,

Speaker:

some of you might be

glamorous criers out there,

Speaker:

but unless you're not a glamorous crier

- I don't think I'm one of them - this

Speaker:

inner work, right, it can

feel dense, it can feel heavy.

Speaker:

It's like I want to move ahead.

Speaker:

Why do I have to sit here with

the waters and allow them to be?

Speaker:

But this work is so important.

It's what cleanses you.

Speaker:

It's what opens you up for the spiritual

transitions that are wanting to

Speaker:

happen now. I mentioned that this

month is one of spiritual catch up,

Speaker:

and this is part of how we catch up.

Speaker:

When we are able to sit down and give

ourselves the space to feel the feelings,

Speaker:

to allow the emotions to come up,

Speaker:

whether they're new or

whether they're very old,

Speaker:

we are giving our spirit time

to catch up so that all of us is

Speaker:

integrated and ready for what comes next.

Speaker:

There is this sense of pent up

energies that want to be released.

Speaker:

Maybe you've been going really fast this

fall, you've been getting a lot done,

Speaker:

you've been moving ahead.

Speaker:

Maybe there's just a lot that happened

for you this year and it feels like,

Speaker:

whoa, this is a lot for

me to process right now.

Speaker:

There's this sense of

actually this opportunity,

Speaker:

like a stream flowing,

Speaker:

where you can come and

feel the unfelt feelings,

Speaker:

to allow this excess charge to

move up and out and give it to the

Speaker:

stream and allow it to be carried

away. These pent up energies,

Speaker:

they cause tension and stress and

the feeling of blockage inside us.

Speaker:

And so it's a really helpful

thing to allow them to come out,

Speaker:

to allow them to move.

And when we do this,

Speaker:

we reach moments of emotional

clarity. Have you ever felt this?

Speaker:

Like after you cry,

Speaker:

you're so overwhelmed

before. I'm overwhelmed.

Speaker:

The charge is so big, confused.

You cry and then you have clarity.

Speaker:

You needed to let that cry out.

You needed to let the waters move.

Speaker:

And so there's this sense of if

you're allowing the emotions to be

Speaker:

and reminding yourself that there's

nothing to be afraid of here - it's a good

Speaker:

thing to feel, it's a good

thing to feel your emotions,

Speaker:

it's a good thing to allow the thousand

waters move through you - when you

Speaker:

do, when you allow that, then you receive

emotional clarity on the other side.

Speaker:

And I do feel that

there's moments of like,

Speaker:

you're going to have moments this

month of like peering into a crystal

Speaker:

clear, still jug of water.

Speaker:

Where it's almost like

divinatory moments of,

Speaker:

in the midst of allowing the

feelings to move through you,

Speaker:

of seeing with clarity where you're at,

Speaker:

what you need, what's

important, what it all meant.

Speaker:

So allowing the emotions to move through

is going to give you those moments of

Speaker:

clarity.

Speaker:

We are really deepening this month

into the guidepost of our emotions,

Speaker:

that emotions can be trusted,

that they're here to guide us,

Speaker:

that they're not something to be

afraid of, but something to be felt,

Speaker:

something to allow to move

through us like water.

Speaker:

And I want to remind you,

Speaker:

and this was something that came

in really strongly with my guides,

Speaker:

this reminder that you have the tools

to meet whatever it is that's going

Speaker:

to come up, that you have the tools to

meet the feelings, to meet the bigness,

Speaker:

to meet the 1000 springs.

You have the tools,

Speaker:

you have the tools to feel it. And

that's why it's coming up right now,

Speaker:

to be felt and to be released.

Speaker:

In this time of allowing the

Speaker:

waters to move, allowing

the feelings to flow,

Speaker:

when we create this

time for emotional flow,

Speaker:

it creates physical flow in our life.

Speaker:

It creates a flow pattern in

the physical world around us.

Speaker:

So this work is not you doing nothing.

Speaker:

This work is you doing a lot

to actually create more flow,

Speaker:

more potential, more momentum in

your life. But for this month,

Speaker:

the theme is really this

theme of spiritual catch up,

Speaker:

of letting yourself feel the things,

of figuring out where you are now,

Speaker:

of feeling where you are. Now, let's

forget even about figuring out,

Speaker:

just feeling it. Feel where you are now.

Speaker:

There's a sense of the past few

months having been this time

Speaker:

of big leaps, a lot being integrated,

Speaker:

you taking new steps within those things.

Speaker:

And so we're playing this spiritual

catch up this month because

Speaker:

what came through for me is

that there's some sort of

Speaker:

connections or opening that's

going to happen in December.

Speaker:

There's sort of this fresh energy

that's coming in in December.

Speaker:

So you're letting yourself catch up now.

Speaker:

You're letting yourself

be in transition now,

Speaker:

almost like the rain coming through

so that the sky can open up again.

Speaker:

November culturally is also

a very contradictory time.

Speaker:

And I want to name this really

clearly because in our bodies

Speaker:

and in the body of the land,

November is a time of slowing down.

Speaker:

If we were living in sync with the earth,

Speaker:

with nature, this is a time in which

the crops are going back to the earth,

Speaker:

in which life is going into

the underground world in

which everything is slowing

Speaker:

down. We would have been slowing down too.

Speaker:

And yet we live at a time in our culture

where this is often a month of gearing

Speaker:

up. We're gearing up

for the holiday season,

Speaker:

we're gearing up for the end of the year.

Speaker:

And I just want to name that that

contradictory energy can sometimes

Speaker:

feel a little crunchy.

Speaker:

It can feel a little grating.

Speaker:

And it's not a sign that

you're doing anything wrong.

Speaker:

It's actually just a sign that we live

in a time where our calendar for the year

Speaker:

does not match up with the

deeper rhythms of our bodies.

Speaker:

And so I just want you to

know that this slowdown,

Speaker:

there's a slowdown that

wants to happen here.

Speaker:

And you might read it as a low,

Speaker:

you might be reading this

slowdown as a low, but it's not.

Speaker:

It's actually a deep desire

for slowness and integration.

Speaker:

So remind yourself of this. If you feel

like you're having any lows this month,

Speaker:

remind yourself that this is not a

low; this is my desire to be slow.

Speaker:

And give yourself permission to do that.

Speaker:

Because if you allow that slowness,

Speaker:

if you allow yourself to feel this month,

Speaker:

to allow those feelings to help

you transition to this more poetic,

Speaker:

mythical, creative state,

Speaker:

you'll be given the energy you need to

move ahead in whatever it is that you're

Speaker:

creating or building,

Speaker:

whether it's a relationship or an

endeavor or some sort of creative project.

Speaker:

This is actually really

important behind-the-scenes

work happening this month.

Speaker:

But we just need to be gentle

with ourselves in taking

that permission to slow

Speaker:

down, to integrate, to feel the feelings,

Speaker:

to allow this spiritual catch up

to happen. And, whenever we can,

Speaker:

embrace the peace within the moving

energies of this month and to

Speaker:

know that you are supported.

This was really important.

Speaker:

Specifically this card that came

up is one of these house cards.

Speaker:

It's one of these Our Lady cards.

Speaker:

And so you can call on Our

Lady of a Thousand Waters.

Speaker:

You can call on whoever it is

that you feel holds you and

Speaker:

helps you through these times. We

are never meant to do this alone.

Speaker:

It's deep spiritual tides this month,

Speaker:

like deep work that is

coming up and that really,

Speaker:

you're not even efforting within,

you're just allowing to move through.

Speaker:

You're giving it permission

to move through you,

Speaker:

but know that you can call upon

guides to hold you and help you,

Speaker:

and that this is meant to

be a still point. This is

meant to be a resting point,

Speaker:

a sanctuary, where you allow

the waters to flow again.

Speaker:

And those waters are life-giving.

Speaker:

So know that whatever you're moving

through this month, you are not alone.

Speaker:

We are all moving through

deep times together.

Speaker:

We're moving through deep tides.

Speaker:

And this work has the

Speaker:

potential to open you up

to the freshness to come,

Speaker:

the perspective to come,

the healing to come.

Speaker:

It is soul work. It is...

Speaker:

There is beauty in the midst of

this. There's so much beauty.

Speaker:

Like the gorgeous mythopoetical

description of this

Speaker:

card,

Speaker:

to allow what is moving through you to

Speaker:

be life-giving nourishment

for this world. T

Speaker:

The earth desires your feeling.

She desires your tears.

Speaker:

She desires you exactly as you are.

Speaker:

And that is so much of what

actually happens when we allow

Speaker:

ourselves stillness, the

slowing down, the deep feeling,

Speaker:

the mythopoetic realm,

Speaker:

that we are becoming and living

into more of our full selves.

Speaker:

We are giving more of our

full selves to this world.

Speaker:

The full spectrum of all

the energies that we carry,

Speaker:

all the emotions that make up

the tapestry of who we are,

Speaker:

the deep creative tides, the deep

creative wells of who we are,

Speaker:

are accessed through this

thing that we call emotion and

Speaker:

feeling. And so you're bringing more of

yourself into this world through simply

Speaker:

allowing yourself to feel. If

this reading resonated with you,

Speaker:

whether you're listening at the beginning

of the month or later in the month,

Speaker:

I'd love to hear from you. I'd love a

check-in. I'd be curious how you're doing,

Speaker:

what's coming up for you. You can leave

a comment or head over to my website,

Speaker:

asiasuler.com/remember

and leave me a voice note.

Speaker:

I am still deep right now in

my sabbatical working on this

Speaker:

next book,

Speaker:

and it's making me really curious what's

going to come up for me this month as

Speaker:

I'm engaged with this really

important creative project of mine.

Speaker:

I'm super curious about the ways in which

I'm going to integrate what I've been

Speaker:

learning, what I've been working on,

Speaker:

whether I need to anticipate not being

able to get as much done this month and

Speaker:

just be with the feelings that come

up. But after getting this card,

Speaker:

I'm so convinced that

no matter what comes up,

Speaker:

it is actually so important. It's

so much forward momentum for us.

Speaker:

It's just that in the moment what it's

going to look like is slowing down and

Speaker:

being with sensation and being with

feeling, but it's deep, it's rich,

Speaker:

it's mythic terrain that

we're entering here.

Speaker:

So thank you so much for

tuning into this reading for

Speaker:

November, 2025. If you

are loving this podcast,

Speaker:

it would mean the world to me,

like 10,000 springs of gratitude,

Speaker:

if you left this podcast

a rating or review,

Speaker:

wherever you listen.

Speaker:

It has very much felt to

me like a way point on my

Speaker:

journey of being able to sit

and sip and drink from the

Speaker:

cup of what you all have proffered in

terms of your love and your support and

Speaker:

your feedback.

Speaker:

And it would just mean so much to me

if you took a moment to do that today.

Speaker:

And know that I'm with you

as we walk into this month,

Speaker:

this beginning of the close of this year.

Speaker:

I can't even believe that I'm saying that.

Speaker:

I can't even believe that

we're at the end of:

Speaker:

but this feels like it's initiating

this process that is helping us to close

Speaker:

out this year. And there's

so much beauty in it,

Speaker:

there's so much potential

in it, and I'm really,

Speaker:

truly excited to see what

arises out of the deep

Speaker:

cleansing and holding and

vessel of this month to come.

Speaker:

So however this lands with you, however

the waters move through you this month,

Speaker:

may they rejuvenate you.

May they bring you support.

Speaker:

May they bring you nourishment. May

they bring you a poetic way of seeing,

Speaker:

may they help you to remember

the vessel that you are.

Speaker:

And may they help you

reconnect to that life-giving

Speaker:

water, that life-giving

well that is remembering

Speaker:

why you're here.
