We are so incredibly selfish that we naturally look to our own interests first before the interests of others. This world’s way is completely antithetical to God’s way. Jesus showed us what to value. We are supposed to “in humility count others more important that ourselves, like Christ did for us when he died on the cross. When we put the interests of the weak, the vulnerable, and even our enemies before our own, we reflect God to the world.
