Shownotes
Julius Mayo Jr. is a photographer, digital marketer, and content creator. He travels for food and plans trips around the U.S. and abroad to discover local food and culture, sharing the experience through social media channels and his food blog, Droolius — food photos that make you drool. Starting the Droolius blog in 2010, he shared his travel and food experiences, helping people find good places to eat. He also used the website and photography to showcase local restaurants and food trucks, leading to a social media marketing business. The blogging experience led to presenting as a speaker at food blog conferences and teaching photography live on stage. Julius has collaborated with brands, including Walt Disney World and KEH Camera, to host food photography workshops to teach influencers how to capture food with cameras and lighting techniques. The goal is to travel the world and eat everything, while inspiring others to discover different cultures through food.
