Have you ever encountered someone who is always trying to sell you something, making every interaction about making a buck? It's like that awkward family member at gatherings who can't stop talking about their latest conspiracy theories. While it's important to promote our ventures, bombarding others with sales tactics can push them away. Instead, we should seamlessly integrate business into conversations while focusing on adding value and fostering genuine connections.


I have a friend who started a business creating metal signs but later realized it wasn't his passion. Despite this, he never pressured me to buy his products. Instead, he focused on providing value, seeking advice, and building our friendship. As a result, I supported his business willingly and even received his products as gifts. Similarly, another friend helped me with house renovations without expecting anything in return because of our strong bond.


The key takeaway here is to prioritize adding value and building relationships authentically. By putting others' needs first and avoiding pushy sales tactics, we can cultivate a loyal customer base who genuinely supports our ventures. Remember, good work and genuine relationships will always speak louder than sales pitches.
