Hello, magical beings and creatures of the forest.

This is Gosia, your host of the Tarot and More podcast.

And today we've got the second part of the miniseries about my friend Fire.

So if you haven't listened to the first part, please do so pause here and go back to one

episode before this one where we start this adventure with this beautiful deck.

My friend Fire is the companion deck, the first companion deck to the gentle Tarot.

And it's been created by Mari in the sky.

Marisa,

before we start,

I just wanted to mention that I didn't know how to call this type of episodes, like what

are we doing here actually?

And I was thinking that it's a kind of a flip through,

but I wasn't sure about that.

And Mari actually listened to the first

episode in this miniseries and she called it audio unboxing.

And I love it.

I think this is it.

This is audio unboxing.

So, yeah,

welcome to the audio unboxing of my friend fire, part two.

So we finished part one with the card number 10 and now we are on the card number 11.

And the card number 11 is the beginning of the next suit of my friend Fire,

which is the blue suit and it's called Nourishment.

So we've got some nourishing cards in,

in front of us.

And the card number 11 is actually.

Yeah, it shows an animal and this time I feel super confident.

I know the animal.

I'm winning at this one.

It's a cat.

It's definitely a cat.

I have no doubts, no,

you know, no doubts about Alaskan nature.

This is a house cat,

a very much usual grey, lovely cat.

And the cat is lying on their back and showing their belly and smiling.

They have this beautiful cat smile and a soft paws without,

without the claws drawn.

Just really, really waiting for the belly rubs and they daisies around and.

And that's it.

Because the whole card is really taken up by,

by this cat,

this really purring cat.

We can hear it purring almost.

It's beautiful.

The cat is grey and I'm very confident.

And actually Mari's cat was posing for this

picture because she has a cat who looks very similar.

And the card is called Trust.

And I think this is a fantastic depiction of trust because if you share your life with any

familiars of feline kind or even canine kind, I've got familiars of canine kind.

And when they trust you, they show you their belly to rub.

If they don't trust someone, they will not put themselves in this position showing up their

belly.

So this is a fantastic depiction of trust.

I really, really love it.

It's very.

You just have your.

Just smile when you look at this card.

Wonderful.

Then we've got card number 12,

which is called fill your cup.

And,

yeah, we are basically filling the cup in this one.

It shows a woman.

And again, this is a picture which is drawn with lines.

So this woman is really very transparent.

Translucent is just like a shape drawn with

lines.

And she is holding a rainbow, but the rainbow is like kind of a shawl.

It's.

She's naked, but she.

She has.

We see her from the back.

She has long hair and.

And this rainbow which.

Which acts like a shawl around her body.

And she has right hand raised and her head is a bit like, tilted back.

And it feels as if like she was about to either reach the sky or perhaps pour

something.

Like.

I just.

It just feels like she's reaching for.

I don't know, I just imagine as if she was reaching for some water to drink, so.

To fill her cup with water, perhaps.

But we don't see that.

We see her reaching, reaching higher up and around her there's some plants.

They look like slowberries,

some flowers and the birds.

And then we are in the realm again of birds, which.

I'm not sure who they are,

but they look a bit like partridges, I would say they are partridges.

It's four of them.

And they are eating those berries.

Blueberries.

Slowberries.

Not sure.

Some look like slowberries,

but yeah, that's.

That's.

It's very colourful.

Joyful.

It's very, very joyful.

So fill your cup.

Very nourishing.

And then we've got two cards with number 13.

They both have.

They both have number 13 and they both have

play as medicine as their.

The words,

their tagline or whatever call it the name of the card players.

Medicine.

And they both have the same name, they both

have the same number,

but they have different pictures.

And I love them.

I love the variety that you can.

You can choose.

You can either choose which one speaks to you

better or perhaps.

Perhaps you can, you know, have double chance to get.

Play as medicine when you shuffle and draw a card.

So what's the difference?

Well, one of them is play Animal play.

There are only animals there.

There is a baby bear,

there is an orca, there is a salmon and they are birds and I have no idea what birds they

are.

They're blue and there is water and a rainbow

and mountains and.

Or maybe hills, not mountains.

And orca is jumping and salmon is also jumping out of the water.

And the bear is lying on the grass in between the water on its back and,

you know,

just rolling in the grass with one palm, their belly and the legs up and smile on their face.

And the orca is very joyful.

Actually there are two orcas because I've just

noticed there is a tail of another orca in the water.

And the funniest thing on it is there are two raspberries.

Raspberries.

And they are above the bear and it kind of looks like the bear is playing with those

raspberries,

which is very big actually.

Yeah, it's like just animal joy.

And the other card players, Medicine has a human, although we don't see this human, we

see only their thoughts because what's on this card is a tree and there is a.

It's not a seesaw, it's the other one is swing.

That's it.

There's a swing on this tree and you can see

that the swing is in a movement like as if someone just jumped out of this swing.

It's a very basic swing.

The plank of wood on two strings, ropes.

And they are again those blue birds flying around.

There is a bit of rainbows visible in the corner and there are leaves falling out of the

tree, but it doesn't look like autumn, it looks like summer.

It's very,

very joyful and bright and there is a naked foot of someone who just jumped out of this,

of this swing and is running out of the frame of the picture.

And they flip flop, flip flops or sandals are left on the ground under the seesaw.

So we've got human play.

And before that we had.

In the previous card we had animal play.

So you can choose which one speaks to you more.

Then we have card number 14 and number 14 is breathe.

And it's such a beautiful card.

There is.

It's green.

It's like mostly we see grass.

It's like full of grass and a bit of leaves, like some bush.

Yellow, little yellow flowers in this grass, like daffodils.

Daffodils.

What's the name of it?

Oh, forgot the little yellow yellow flower which flowers in the, in the lawns.

And I'm just blanked out the name of it.

Anyway, you probably know which one that looks

like this flower and there is a fox in the middle of it.

A fox who is just standing and has their head up.

The nose is very much up, like sniffing in the air, breathing in.

And also around those little like white,

like patches of white colour that look like a wind or look like Just moving air or the

smells, the smells which are coming to fox's nose.

And the fox is kind of chasing those smells and breathing them in.

And it's.

And the grass is moving a little bit.

So it just feels like a lot of.

It's funny because the fox is standing still, but you feel like there is a lot of movement

in this card and it's like very fresh,

really nice.

Breathe.

Now we've got card number 15 and it's called sending and receiving.

And we've got two people who are sitting in front of each other and they are again, a bit

of like shape,

line drawn.

They look like twins,

have long hair and they are holding each other, they're kneeling in front of each other

and their foreheads are touching each other and their arms are up together.

So each of them is having their hands, the palms of their hands on the shoulder of the

other person.

So they look like they are kind of exchanging energy.

And in them, within their body we see little hearts,

blue, yellow and orange hearts.

And they are touching those hearts.

So like they reaching out to the shoulder of

this person.

But actually,

actually they are not really reaching, not touching the shoulder, they are touching their

heart.

And. Yeah, and it looks like a perfect exchange.

It's like sending and receiving, which is very reciprocal.

It's.

It's like they are both giving and receiving

the same amount of energy, of positive emotions and whatever they are sending and

receiving.

But they are definitely equal in that you can feel that it's very.

It's not like someone is getting more than the other.

It's very,

yeah, very equal.

And behind them there is space, there is cosmic space.

So, yeah, it's very powerful card, I think like a card of reciprocity.

Yeah.

Now we are on the card number 16 and card number 16 is called ecosystem.

And it's very restful and very joyful.

We see a face of a person with their eyes closed and a smile,

like a gentle, gentle smile.

Definitely someone who is very happy and joyful and calm.

And that's just the face, face and neck.

And next to this person there is a fox.

And the fox is sort of cuddling to this person

and just cuddling to their neck and their face.

It's also the fox's head and the fox also has their eyes closed and very, very calm face.

And it's just very sweet picture.

And around them there are leaves and flowers

and little pine cones and ladybird.

And it's just very summery and very calm and restful picture of the ecosystem.

And now We've got The card number 17,

which is called My Body, My Earth.

And it's very interesting.

We've got hands,

we've got two hands.

We don't see a person.

We have got quite realistically drawn hands and this person definitely belonging to.

I mean, not definitely, but I think they belong to one person.

There are two hands, right hand and left hand.

And the right hand is touching the left hand, like massaging the left hand.

That looks like that to me, like someone who is massaging their left hand with their right

hand.

And it is all on the backdrop of.

It's like a greenish blue background.

And on it there is like a splash of airs of

soil.

And.

And,

yeah, I'm just thinking now because I also noticed now when I'm just talking, I've

noticed there are droplets of water around and a little bit of rainbow.

And this rainbow is kind of coming out from this water, from the droplets.

But I think maybe, maybe this person is just very thoroughly washing their hands.

They've just finished gardening,

perhaps, and they are washing off the rest of the soil from their hands.

It's very,

very unusual, I think.

Very unusual picture.

I really like it.

And number 18 is roots.

And this shows trees, three trees with the roots.

We can see the roots and we can see light,

a lot of light, and the light as if like fireflies,

I think they are.

I mean, I don't know, but I see them as fireflies being all around this,

the trees and also their roots.

And it's quite unusual picture compared to the others, because it's very.

To me, it has a bit of a different style.

It's like there is nothing realistic on it.

Everything is drawn with lines,

basically.

It's lots of lines in orange and yellow and

green and blue and sort of greenish blue.

And they.

Yeah, it's just all drawn with like thick lines.

And there is a person, but it's not very obvious because this person's hugging the

tree, the biggest tree in the middle,

the person.

We can only see their hands and a little bit

line of their back and a little bit of line of their head,

the back of their head.

But this person is hidden behind the tree and

is just cuddling.

Like their arms are around the trunk of the

tree.

And the person is also drawn just with lines.

So it's kind of, I think, quite easy to miss

the fact there is a person on it.

Yeah,

Roots.

So that's roots.

Now we've got number 19.

And number 19 is fluid stream.

And it's quite interesting because it doesn't look very much like a stream.

It looks like a, like a sky.

And there is a person who's.

We just see them like a bit of them, a hair

and the face from the.

The Prof. Their profile and two arms and they

do look a bit like.

Like they're swimming or they are jumping into the water.

They're quite, quite like.

They are not lines.

There's a proper person drawn there but they are just only like in the left side of the

card.

Like they just coming into the frame of the

card.

But what's in front of the.

The most of the card is two shades of blue and

white which could be.

Well to me looks like clouds.

And there is lights.

Again this kind of firefly style lights.

It does to me look far more like a sky than water than a stream.

But on the very bottom of the picture there are stones, there are black stones which kind

of make it look more like water, like a stream.

Yeah, it's very.

Not obvious.

I think this cut open to lots of

interpretation.

And now we've got the last card of the nourishing suit and it's called Free to be.

And we have a person.

And again this is not a very realistic person.

It's sort of a shape,

the shape of a person sitting cross legged in the middle of the frame on the grass, on the

green,

like a green background and behind them the background is purple.

So sort of purple sky and green grass and there are rainbows around and they are looking

up, they are looking up, they're smiling.

And what I find the most interesting is that above them there is a bird flying and it looks

like a raven and I love it.

I love the birds.

The freedom is expressed through the picture of a raven because it's not an obvious choice.

Like ravens are usually seen as something more ominous.

Like a bird that brings maybe some bad news or.

Yeah, something slightly scary or some.

Maybe magic but like a very powerful magic as

well.

But here it feels like, yeah,

it's a bird that is free.

And the bird of choice which Mary drew is a raven.

I think it's a raven but it's definitely a black bird, black big bird.

And I think it's an unusual choice.

And they had rainbows coming up from to their

wings and it's, it's quite an unusual choice and I really love it.

I like that it's in a raven and not some kind of more obviously positive bird.

Like a bird that is.

Has very obviously positive connotations.

So I like, I like that it's a.

It's a raven as freedom.

And now we are getting into orange suit.

And the orange suit is expansion.

And we start with card number 21.

And again, we've got two cards, number 21, two

cards which has the words fire within.

So two fire within cards.

And again,

same motif.

One card is with an animal and one card is with a person.

So the animal card has a weasel or a mutton or some kind of.

Yeah, I'll go for either a weasel or a mutton.

And this animal is holding a flame in their paws.

They are standing upright on hind legs with the tail behind,

looking sort of to the front and a bit up and holding a flame.

And there is behind them, there is a little bit of a halo and some flowers around.

And it does look like this animal has a lot of confidence.

The weasel or a marten has a very strong confidence.

And I think this flame is giving them empowerment.

And there is a very similar vibe to the human card, Fire Within.

There is a lady, a woman, naked woman, who is smiling and looking up as well, and stretching

her hands in front of her.

And in the hands there is a flame and there is a halo.

The same halo as the weasel has.

Same halo behind her and the moon and the same flowers.

So it's kind of.

They look like they are standing next to each other, really, when you look at these cards

next to each other.

And they look like they're praying.

I think they're praying both of them to some God, deity,

higher source,

whatever they choose to pray to.

But I think that's.

That has this very, very spiritual vibe.

And I think the weasel or the mutton is as

spiritual as the lady.

So we are now in the card 22,

and it's a beautiful card.

Card 22 is deep rest.

And.

Yeah, and I was just thinking.

I had to quickly look at the names of the suit

because I was thinking, is deep does depress.

Does it belong to nourishment more?

But then,

no, Depressed is actually expansion.

We had pause in listening.

Do you remember in the first episode we were

talking about listening suit and there was a pause card with a bear?

And now we've got depressed.

And depressed is expansion.

And I think when we pause,

we listen to ourselves and we.

Yeah, we listen to our needs.

But deep rest is actually far more than pause.

And I do think that it really, really belongs to expansion.

And in deep rest, we've got a reindeer.

And the reindeer is lying and sleeping and resting.

And there is some kind of,

I don't know,

the ground around them is a Bit of snow and the night.

There are clouds above.

Above the reindeer and there is a crescent

moon and there is a little fire within the belly of the reindeer.

It's very restful card.

The colours are very restful.

I love that.

And now we've got a card number 23 and it's quite interesting.

It has a frog in the middle and the background is green.

And through the middle of the background there is a rainbow going through.

But it's again, this rainbow.

Don't know if you remember from the previous

episode when I talked about the rainbow that looks like a German flag with added purple.

Well, that's another one of those.

That colour is like very dark blue.

That looks like black and purple and red and

yellow.

And I just can't unsee the German flag.

But anyway, forget about that.

In the middle of the card there is a frog and around the frog there is frost.

And the frog also looks a bit covered with frost.

And the.

Oh, I forgot to tell you, the name of the card

is Detach.

And that looks slightly puzzling at the beginning.

But I think I know the scientific background of this card because I remember a David

Attenborough show in which he talked about those frogs.

And I.

I'm pretty sure they were in Alaska.

Frogs that get frozen during the winter, they actually properly get frozen and their body

temperature falls really, really low.

So they essentially, like, if a human being,

you know, got so frosty and.

And so cold internally, we would have died.

Like, that's, that's.

We just died of exposure.

But. And most animals would.

But the frog,

it's their.

How to call survival.

Survival mode.

And something that nature gave them to survive in those harsh circumstances.

And they just freeze for few months and then they thaw in the spring,

like, they really thaw, like, and they are alive again,

which is quite amazing.

It's like one of the most amazing things I

heard about animals in terms of what animals can do and their survival mechanisms.

And it's just amazing.

And I'm pretty sure.

I don't know because I have to ask Marie about that because.

But I'm pretty sure this is this frog,

the frog who is detaching itself from life for a few months.

It's wonderful.

I'm pretty sure it's this frog.

I think this card is gonna go definitely on the picture on the blog post which I'm going

to write.

So by the time it will be available,

by the time the last episode of this series comes out.

Yeah,

yeah.

I think this is the freezing frog.

Right.

Number 24, number 24 is one heartbeat.

And it's quite unusual because I think it's one of those cards like wood, like, you know

those, those kind of pictures when you have to tell what you saw first because it's, it's,

it's very, you know, it kind of contains different pictures in one.

And this is one of those pictures.

So what I saw first were two wolves who are

howling together and there is this sort of fire colour smudge of.

Of air coming out from them.

So it's kind of this howl.

There is this picture of powerful howl and they're howling together,

you know, like one.

And.

And they are.

There are mountains and there are trees and

there is a.

A star, a falling star.

It's not called falling star.

Forgot how they are called.

Anyway, you know, in August,

at least in August in Europe there's lots of stars,

falling stars.

And now I'm just bothered because I haven't checked how it's called in English, but I hope

that you know what I mean.

Or maybe it's a comet.

Actually that could be a comet thinking now because it's kind of large and prominent in

the skyline.

So let's say it's a comet,

like flying over the mountains.

And this is what I saw first and then I realised that the middle of the mountain and

something that looks a bit like part of the mountain, part of maybe some pathways in the

mountain.

It's actually a figure of a lying woman,

but again, very.

Not very realistic.

Very, very.

Just like an outline of a woman and she's got flames coming out from chakras with the

biggest one coming out from her forehead.

And that one is exactly the same as the howl coming out from the wolf's.

So, yeah, it's very.

Again, another one which is a bit ambiguous.

Yeah.

But I saw the mountains and the forest and the wolves first.

Now we've got card number 25 and the card number 25 is.

Joy is essential.

And this is such a magical card because it has this sort of greenish blue,

more green really background and there is not much happening on it.

There is a big flower in the middle and it.

Again, this flower came up on one of the first

cards and it.

I still don't know what it exactly is, looks a bit like a thistle, but far more gentle than

thistle.

Like, you know, thistle is difficult to actually handle.

While this one is definitely softer.

But yeah, the colours of thistle and.

Yeah, and that's almost it.

But there are little humans, the little figures of like blobby ghosty figures of

joyful.

Jumping around.

Humans is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of them kind of climbing this.

This flower.

And it's just very, very unusual, very

original idea.

And the little white stars as well.

But those.

Those figurines of.

Yeah. Look a bit like a jellyfish.

Jellyfishy humans climbing a thistle, which is

not a thistle.

Yeah, that. That's. That's.

I think that needs to go on the picture as

well, because I'm not doing a very good job with explaining this one.

Right.

Number 26 is called perfectly In Place.

And there are two otters who are lying on their backs in the water and floating and

holding paws.

They are like holding together next to each other.

They have eyes closed and they are just drifting in the water.

And the water is very calm and blue and purple and yellow.

And there is a little sun which is either setting or rising on the horizon behind this

water.

And that's it.

They are perfectly in place.

They are where they should be.

There is nowhere to be, nowhere else to be,

nowhere to rush.

There is just these two.

These two alters in love.

Wonderful.

And now we've got number 27. 27 is.

Oh, that is proper expansion.

Yeah, we were in expansion.

Yes, we are still in expansion.

And.

Yeah, and that one is a proper expansion.

And it's called First Step.

And what we see is like an interior of a room and there is a person who is a bit, again,

this kind of simple, outliney person with a little flame on their back.

And we see them from the back,

how they are like approaching the corner of the room which seems to have a little gap.

So the room has black walls.

They are not very oppressive because there is a picture with a rainbow.

On one of the walls there are two plants, big plant pots, very pretty plants growing.

There is a little rug and on the rug there is a cat sleeping.

And there is a little cushion on which I guess this person was just sitting.

And the cushion is smiling.

It has a little smile.

You know, the cushion has a face and a smile.

And next to the cushion.

Oh, I'll tell you in a moment.

But yeah, the cushion, the cat, the plants,

the rainbow on the picture.

So it's quite a. It's a cosy room,

but there is this gap.

So maybe it's a doorway or.

It feels a bit like they are not proper walls.

They are like heavy curtains and there is a gap in between them and there is a light.

So this gap is yellow and is definitely light coming out from there.

And this person is going there.

It's walking towards, like Like a bit.

Looks a bit like a shy and doubtful, but walking towards this gap and, yeah, just going

to the light and leaving the room.

Although the room is cosy and I guess is their room.

But, yeah, the time is time to leave, time to expand,

time to,

you know,

search for new horizons.

But what else is next to the cat and the

cushion?

There is a deck of cards with a box.

A couple of cards, like three cards are taken out and they are lying on the rug.

And next to them there is a box.

And this is a gentle tarot.

You can tell there is like a tiny.

Is the colour of the box of the gentle tarot, blue.

And you can definitely.

I mean, it's tiny.

It's just a tiny detail,

but you can tell there are these.

These little lines that tell you definitely

this is a gentle tarot.

So,

yeah, it's very meta.

Very meta.

But, yeah, that's a proper expansion card.

The card number 28 is connection.

And Connection is a hand of a person which is reaching up and it's like reaching towards the

universe because we've got.

On the very bottom of the card we've got

trees.

And you can tell they are tall trees, they are tops of like, tall pines.

And the hand is reaching much higher and it's reaching through some blue lines which are, I

guess, clouds, like reaching above the clouds.

And then above that clouds there is a cosmic

space and the rainbows.

And on the fingers of this person there is a little fox.

The fox is climbing the fingers and has its head up and the nose up and is not.

Yeah, it's just staring up, but climbing really on the longest finger,

you know, just to reach as high as possible.

And their face is so cute and it's just,

just looking up, climbing on this person's fingers and hand.

So that's connection.

And I'm just wondering who is connecting?

Is it us connecting to the fox? Is a fox connecting to the cosmic universe?

I don't know, but it's beautiful.

And now we've got card number 29, which is called Receive.

And receive is a woman standing in the river, I guess,

or in between clouds.

I'm not sure, but I think it's a river stream.

And there is a rainbow coming out of there.

And yeah, that's the same rainbow, yellow, red

and purple and navy blue, almost dark,

almost black rainbow coming out from this woman's body.

And she's again, just a line, just, just, just line and transparent person, translucent

person with this rainbow coming out and around her.

There is a.

There is A lake.

And there are little green islands, like a

hilly islands, and seagulls flying around.

There are four seagulls that at least I'm sure

there are seagulls, definitely.

And it just very much reminds me of Scotland.

This.

I guess it's.

I'm sure it's Alaska and it totally can be

Alaska, but to me it just looks very, very much like Scotland,

which is one of my absolutely favourite places in the world.

Yeah. So that's that receiving.

And I think what's.

This woman is receiving something through the medium of this.

Of this rainbow.

I think that's the image.

And now we've got the last card of the expansion suit and it's called Dream.

And this is the picture which is on the box.

So I told you in the first episode, what's in it.

There are two hands and an outline of a person,

of a woman, I think, who's standing like in those hands and reaching up with her right

hand.

And there are ferns around all around us, like in the background of these hands.

And it's a dream.

And I love it that the dream has ferns because like I told you,

I absolutely love the legend about the fern flower.

And that looks,

you know,

it's a very good image of a dream.

But yeah, the legend, the original legend of the fen flower is quite sad, really.

It's a storey that is meant to warn you from wanting too many possessions because the idea

is that if the first.

The person who finds the fern flower is gonna

get all the riches of the world.

But the legend has different versions, but usually it ends badly for this person because

they were just too greedy.

But there are also other versions, more modern versions of this storey.

Um.

And yeah, so.

So the dream is a bit like.

When I think about fans and dream.

Dream is a bit like ambiguous to me, whether

it's a good thing or bad thing.

But I love a fans.

So to me I just.

I just choose this version where it is a dream that leads us towards.

Towards expansion.

Towards it.

Not towards physical, material riches,

but towards the richness of our internal life and our feelings and emotions and our internal

mental and psychological and intellectual growth rather than capitalistic growth.

So, yes, this is what this woman is reaching out to the sky for.

Yeah, just expanding her world and fans are going to help her.

So this is it for today.
