Former VP of Operations at LinkedIn then head of Mindfulness and Compassion - Scott Shute is my special guest this week. I read his book, The Full Body Yes and knew I had to learn more from him.
Scott’s vision and mission are to Change Work from the Inside Out by Mainstreaming Mindfulness and Operationalizing Compassion. He is at the intersection of the workplace and ancient wisdom traditions and blends his experience as a Silicon Valley executive with his lifelong practice and passion as a wisdom seeker and teacher.
In this episode you will learn:
- Why it is so important to turn our work world upside down and focus on mindfulness and compassion.
- The most important asset is our people – are we appreciating them?
- Being fully present is twice as big a factor in our happiness as the actual activities in our lives.
- We impact everyone around us, we choose how we respond to life.
I highly recommend Scott’s book!

A little about me:
I began my career as a teacher, was a corporate trainer for many years, and then found my niche training & supporting business owners, entrepreneurs & sales professionals to network at a world-class level. My passion is working with motivated people, who are coachable and who want to build their businesses through relationship marketing and networking (online & offline). I help my clients create retention strategies, grow through referrals, and create loyal customers by staying connected.
In appreciation for being here, I have a couple of gifts for you.
