The Christian should immediately recognize from this text that spiritual warfare is coming upon ALL of those who name the name of Jesus in truth and sincerity. The truth is that if you, as a believer, are more concerned with appeasing the worldly, you are less a Christian and more of a people pleaser. Sorry…we CANNOT be both. Be aware like a snake that's over everything around it.
