Shownotes

This episode of the Creative Spiritual Journey, Judy is offering up a meditative prayer of rememberance, honor and gratitude for our religious liberty, and a plea to our Heavenly Father that it will be strengthened through out the world for all mankind. Can it be so simple as, each of us, breathing peace into our hearts and going out and ministering to the another with great love?

Speaker:

Welcome, friends, to the Creative

Spiritual Journey podcast, where Guy

2

:

and I walk with you for just a moment,

sharing the things of our hearts and the

3

:

joys we're discovering along the way.

4

:

This is a meditative prayer for gratitude,

for religious liberty, and a prayer

5

:

that it will be strengthened worldwide.

6

:

This year the United States of America

is celebrating 250 years of independence.

7

:

Our forefathers proclaimed, "We hold

these truths to be self-evident, that

8

:

all men are created equal, and that

they are endowed by their Creator

9

:

with certain unalienable rights,

that among these are life, liberty,

10

:

and the pursuit of happiness."

11

:

So this meditative prayer is an

opportunity to rejoice in the Lord our

12

:

God, who has redeemed us and made us free.

13

:

And how it begins with you and me in

each of our hearts, our choices, and

14

:

what we do with this precious gift of

liberty, meditation, get comfortable.

15

:

Rest in a place where you can unplug from

the noise and distractions of the world,

16

:

We breathe in through the nose, down into

the belly, and we let the body just relax.

17

:

There's so much noise in our world today.

18

:

See if you can find a stillness

and a peace within you.

19

:

Now, our bodies are very intelligent,

so we don't need to label what it is

20

:

we need to let go of with our exhale.

21

:

The body knows.

22

:

breathing in this warm, relaxing

feeling, and just let it move through

23

:

you from your head to your toes as if

you were soaking in warmth and calm.

24

:

And exhale, and breathing out, and

letting go of the chaos and the noise.

25

:

And in your mind's eye, let's see

ourself rise up above the earth

26

:

And go across

27

:

the prairies, fields of grain

28

:

It could be a sweet movement of wind

29

:

Through the fields, a rustling sound

30

:

Beautiful blue sky

31

:

Colorful clouds

32

:

Majestic mountains a snow-capped glacier

33

:

Beautiful tall trees reaching heavenward

34

:

meadows Colorful flowers

35

:

in the desert, beautiful red earth

36

:

Cool shade

37

:

and canyon walls

38

:

And the rivers

39

:

The sound of rushing water

40

:

A sandy beach

41

:

The sound of ocean waves

42

:

the feeling of being so small and

looking at this grand land that you love

43

:

settle into a beautiful place,

somewhere that feels like home

44

:

sweet home, right where you belong

45

:

ponder the price paid for this land

of liberty and religious freedom

46

:

Honoring those who gave their lives

who fought for the independence

47

:

to give birth to a new nation

48

:

I remember and honor you

49

:

Thank you

50

:

I remember and honor you.

51

:

Thank you

52

:

I remember and honor you.

53

:

Thank you

54

:

Now come into your mind's eye,

into your heart, to your body

55

:

This beautiful vessel, your soul

56

:

You are now the caretaker of

liberty, this independence

57

:

What price are you willing to pay?

58

:

What good can you do?

59

:

It's done by the small and simple things

60

:

Reaching out to a friend

61

:

Patiently caring for an elderly

62

:

tender loving care for a sick friend

63

:

Or a shoulder to cry on

64

:

Today I choose to bear

and nurture humanity

65

:

To be a peacemaker

66

:

Today I choose liberty

67

:

to worship God

68

:

To minister to my brothers

and sisters, to do

69

:

small things with great love

70

:

This is a prayer of gratitude

for religious liberty

71

:

I remember thee and honor thee.

72

:

I thank thee, oh God.

73

:

This is a prayer for religious liberty

to be strengthened throughout the world.

74

:

It begins small and simple

75

:

Today I choose liberty to worship

God and to be a peacemaker

76

:

and to minister to my neighbor

77

:

I choose to be a peacemaker

and to minister to my neighbor

78

:

In this sacred moment ponder,

79

:

What small, simple act with

great love can you perform today?

80

:

It will ripple out into the

world And to be able to rejoice

81

:

and share the good,

82

:

This is your rights of life and

liberty and pursuit of happiness

83

:

and strengthen this

beautiful freedom for all

84

:

it is a prayer of gratitude to our

God that this religious liberty,

85

:

these God-given rights of life and

liberty and pursuit of happiness

86

:

can be strengthened throughout

the whole world to all humankind

87

:

I remember thee and honor thee.

88

:

I thank thee, oh God.

89

:

I remember thee and honor thee.

90

:

I thank thee, oh God.

91

:

for religious liberty to be

strengthened throughout the world.

92

:

God bless America.

93

:

God bless this world, land that we love.

94

:

Stand beside us and guide

us with Thy light from above

95

:

humbly

96

:

In the name of Jesus Christ.
