Shownotes

Rochelle Kopp is also an advocate for trees, parks and preservation of green spaces in Japan's big cities. As a self-described tree-hugger, she has been raising awareness of plans to cut down thousands of trees including 100-year old trees in Tokyo. In 2021, she led a campaign to spare the trees in Tokyo's famous Yoyogi park and is now working to save over a thousand trees, many of them old-growth of over 100 years old- in Jingu Gaien.
