Trouble’s gonna come—but don’t be the one who causes it. The fact that bad things are inevitable is no reason for us to be their cause. In what ways are you a part of the problem in the events happening around you? Are your actions fanning the flames of revenge or discontent or anger or fear? Are you causing pain or wounding others by your words? Are you failing to act when action is needed? Are you standing by in a crisis when you are needed in the fight? How is your life more than just not contributing to trouble? How is it—your life—a force for good in the people and places nearest you? The world has enough who will make trouble—be one of those who makes right.
