Harsh title, right! Here's the thing though ... goals are easy to set, but the process of achieving them is where it gets complicated.
How can you set a plan of action that ensures you reach your goals?
Is there a way to make the process of working towards a goal less overwhelming?
On this episode I discuss why taking time to reflect on your goals and making small steps are crucial.
There’s a bunch of stuff you could do to be successful- think about what you will you do. -Lars Hedenborg
3 Things We Learned From This Episode
-
Pay attention to your habits. For better or worse, these will dictate your progress.
-
Put the 3-1-4 plan in place. Create a 3-year plan, and divide the first year of that plan into 4 quarters. Goals are more achievable when they’re in 90-day timeframes.
-
Schedule regular clarity breaks. For 90 minutes every week, take time out to be with yourself and regroup your thoughts.
No matter how far you are in your journey, you can benefit from self-reflection. Don’t underestimate the importance of checking in with yourself- remember, these are your goals. Start thinking about how you’ll achieve them, and take small steps towards making your dreams a reality. Your dreams don’t need to be a fantasy. They can become your reality as long as you tackle them one at a time.
