Episode Description: Join Glenn Bleakney as he delves into the profound themes of purification and restoration within the church, emphasizing a powerful transformation that is underway. This episode highlights a prophetic word from David Minor, which speaks of the "wind of holiness" blowing through the land, urging believers to turn their faces into this transformative wind.
Glenn explains that this season is not about destruction but divine reconstruction, as Christ prepares His church for unprecedented revival and kingdom advancement. He emphasizes the importance of understanding God's ways to experience His glory, as exemplified by Moses. As the church navigates these changes, listeners are encouraged to embrace a renewed commitment to Christ's lordship, purity, and effective service in the Kingdom.
The Church stands on the brink of profound transformation, as articulated by Glenn Bleakney in this insightful episode focused on the purification and restoration process currently unfolding. Bleakney emphasizes that this moment should not be viewed through the lens of destruction, but rather as an essential reconstruction, where God is preparing His people for an unprecedented revival.
Drawing on a prophetic word from David Minor, delivered in 1987, Bleakney describes a powerful wind of the Holy Spirit that calls the Church to turn its face into the wind, embracing the changes and challenges it brings. This prophetic insight serves as a reminder that institutions failing to align with God's purpose will face consequences, while those who yield to His transformative hand will experience renewal and empowerment for kingdom advancement.
Key biblical references enrich the discussion, with Bleakney highlighting the importance of understanding God's ways to experience His glory. He reflects on the journey of Moses, who sought to know God's ways before witnessing His acts, suggesting that this understanding is crucial for the Church today. Blakeney calls for a collective response to this divine invitation, urging believers to engage in repentance, renewal, and a deeper submission to Christ's lordship. This purification process, while daunting, is framed as an act of God's loving discipline, intended to refine and prepare His Church to carry His glory effectively.
Listeners are encouraged to assess their personal walks with God and their roles within the broader Church community. The episode serves as a powerful reminder that the current spiritual climate is one of opportunity—a chance to align with God’s purposes and to actively participate in the divine work of renewal that is taking place. Blakeney’s message instills a sense of hope and urgency, as he believes that the Church is being positioned for a mighty demonstration of God’s power that the world has yet to witness.
Takeaways:
The Spirit of God would say to you that the wind of the Holy Spirit is blowing through the land. The Church, however, is incapable of fully recognizing this wind. Just as your nation has given names to it’s hurricanes, so I have put My name on this wind. This wind shall be named
“Holiness unto the Lord”.
Because of a lack of understanding, some of My people will try to find shelter from the wind, but in so doing, they shall miss My work. For this wind has been sent to blow through every institution that has been raised in My Name. In those institutions that have substituted their name for Mine, they shall fall by the impact of My wind. Those institutions shall fall like cardboard shacks in a gale. Ministries that have not walked in uprighteousness before Me shall be broken and fall.
This is My Wind.
For this reason, man will be tempted to brand this as a work of satan, but do not be misled. This is My Wind. I cannot tolerate My Church in its present form, nor will I tolerate it. Ministries and organizations will shake and fall in the face of this wind and even some will seek to hide from that wind. They shall not escape. It shall blow against your lives and all around you will appear crumbling and so it shall.
But never forget, this is MY WIND, says the Lord. With tornado force it will come and appear to leave devastation, but the word of the Lord comes and says, “Turn your face into the wind and let it blow, for only that which is not of Me shall be devastated.” You must see this as necessary.
A second wind.
Be not dismayed, for after this, My wind shall blow again. Have you not read how My breath blew on the valley of dry bones? So it shall breathe on you. This wind will come in equal force as the first wind. This wind too will have a name. It shall be called
“The Kingdom of God”.
It shall bring government and order. Along with that, it shall bring My power. The supernatural shall come in that wind. The world will laugh at you because of the devastation of the first wind, but they will laugh no more. For this wind will come with force and power that will produce the miraculous among My people and the fear of God shall fall on the nation. My people will be willing in the day of My power says the Lord. In the first wind that is upon you now, I shall blow out pride, lust, greed, competition and jealousy and you will feel devastated, but haven’t you read “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven?” So out of your poverty of spirit, I will establish My kingdom. Have you not read the kingdom of God is in the Holy Ghost? So by My Spirit, My kingdom will be established and made manifest.
Know this also, there will be those who will seek to hide from this present wind and they will try to flow in the second wind. But again they will be blown away by it. Only those who have turned their faces into the present wind shall be allowed to be propelled by the second wind.
You have longed for revival and a return of the miraculous and the supernatural. You and your generation shall see it, but it shall only come by My process says the Lord. The Church of this nation cannot contain My power in its present form. But as it turns to the wind of Holiness unto the Lord, it shall be purged and changed to contain my Glory. This is the judgement that has begun to the house of God, but it is not the end. When the second wind has come and brought in My harvest, then the end shall come.

Glenn Blakeney:Hey there, everyone.
Glenn Blakeney:Glenn Blakeney here.
Glenn Blakeney:Hey, welcome to the Kingdom Reformation Podcast.
Glenn Blakeney:I'm so glad that you listen and subscribe.
Glenn Blakeney:Really appreciate that.
Glenn Blakeney:Please let others know about the podcast if you have a heart for revival and reformation.
Glenn Blakeney:Seeing the advancement of God's kingdom, literally the reordering of things to the blueprint of the New Testament way, as Jesus began the process and the apostles continued that.
Glenn Blakeney:Please keep listening.
Glenn Blakeney:We have so much amazing content coming.
Glenn Blakeney:I know you're going to be greatly blessed by this.
Glenn Blakeney:Well, today we're going to actually talk about something that's very sobering.
Glenn Blakeney:We're going to be talking about the purification and the restoration of the church, because we are in a profound spiritual season where transformation is unfolding within the body of Christ.
Glenn Blakeney:And sometimes we look around, we go, oh my gosh, there's so much destruction.
Glenn Blakeney:But it's actually not a season of destruction.
Glenn Blakeney:It's a season of reconstruction.
Glenn Blakeney:Because what's happening right now is the Lord Jesus Christ is purifying and preparing his church for a season of unprecedented revival and kingdom advancement.
Glenn Blakeney:So at its core, this transformation reflects Christ's sovereign lordship as he guides his people toward greater alignment and submission to Himself.
Glenn Blakeney:In other words, guys, Jesus is taking his rightful place in the church.
Glenn Blakeney:He's saying that he will not share his glory with others and that he's calling us to come under his lordship.
Glenn Blakeney:Now, this current transformation stems directly from his position as the head of the Church, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, and he's calling us to a place of submission.
Glenn Blakeney:And this is all about him preparing a pure and devoted people who can carry his glory and extend his kingdom influence.
Glenn Blakeney:And this purification that's taking place is not punitive, but it's redemptive.
Glenn Blakeney:And it's flowing from his deep love for his church and his desire to see us fully embrace his calling.
Glenn Blakeney:We've talked about this in previous sessions or episodes of the podcast.
Glenn Blakeney:But you know, in Exodus 33, where Moses calls out to God and he says, show me your glory.
Glenn Blakeney:It's in verse number 18.
Glenn Blakeney:We love that we all want to see the glory of God, and we've been focused on revival.
Glenn Blakeney:But you have to also look back just five verses earlier.
Glenn Blakeney:Verse number 13, where Moses says to the Lord, show me your ways.
Glenn Blakeney:It's very important.
Glenn Blakeney:In order to be able to experience the glory of God, we really have to understand the ways of the Lord.
Glenn Blakeney:We have to.
Glenn Blakeney:We have to know how to walk in the ways of the Lord in order to carry the weight of his glory.
Glenn Blakeney:And Psalm 103.
Glenn Blakeney:7 really clearly shows us this.
Glenn Blakeney:What we read there is that God made known his ways to Moses, but his acts to the children of Israel.
Glenn Blakeney:In other words, the children of Israel saw all the miracles.
Glenn Blakeney:But Moses knew his ways.
Glenn Blakeney:And because Moses walked in the ways of the Lord, God literally bestowed upon him his glory and his power and fullness.
Glenn Blakeney:And this is so important.
Glenn Blakeney:So this is not just about revival, but it's about reformation, it's about renewal, it's about repentance, it's about coming under his lordship, understanding his ways.
Glenn Blakeney:You know, the Bible talks about this in Ephesians 5, where it says to not be ignorant of the ways of the Lord and to actually know what pleases the Lord.
Glenn Blakeney:So walk worthy, it says in the preceding chapter as well.
Glenn Blakeney:And very, very important.
Glenn Blakeney:All right, we're going to shift gears for a moment, because I believe that we are in a season right now where God is blowing the wind of his spirit fresh into the church.
Glenn Blakeney:And I want to refer us back to a prophetic word that was given to the church by David Miner.
Glenn Blakeney: th April,: Glenn Blakeney:David Miner is a minister in the United Kingdom.
Glenn Blakeney:Here's what the word says.
Glenn Blakeney:Now, just listen to this.
Glenn Blakeney:The Spirit of God would say to you that the wind of the Holy Spirit is blowing through the land.
Glenn Blakeney:The church, however, is incapable of fully recognizing this wind.
Glenn Blakeney:Just as your nation has given names to its hurricanes, so I put my name on this wind.
Glenn Blakeney:This wind shall be named holiness unto the Lord.
Glenn Blakeney:Now, because of a lack of understanding, some of my people will try to find shelter from the wind.
Glenn Blakeney:But in so doing, they shall miss my work.
Glenn Blakeney:For this wind has been sent to blow through every institution and that has been raised in my name.
Glenn Blakeney:In those institutions that have substituted their name for mine, they shall fall by the impact of my wind.
Glenn Blakeney:Those institutions shall fall like cardboard shacks in a gale.
Glenn Blakeney:Ministries that have not walked in uprightness before me shall be broken and fall.
Glenn Blakeney:Wow.
Glenn Blakeney:So the subtitle of this is actually turn your face into the wind.
Glenn Blakeney:He continues, and he talks about a second whim.
Glenn Blakeney:He says, be not dismayed, for after this, my wind shall blow again.
Glenn Blakeney:Have you not read how my breath blew on the valley of dry bones?
Glenn Blakeney:So it shall breathe on you.
Glenn Blakeney:This wind will come in equal force as the first wind.
Glenn Blakeney:This wind too will have a name.
Glenn Blakeney:It shall be called the kingdom of God.
Glenn Blakeney:It shall bring government and order.
Glenn Blakeney:Along with that, it shall bring my power.
Glenn Blakeney:The supernatural shall come in that wind.
Glenn Blakeney:The world will laugh at you because of the devastation of the first wind.
Glenn Blakeney:But they will laugh no more.
Glenn Blakeney:Wow.
Glenn Blakeney:For this wind will come with force and power that will produce the miraculous among my people, and the fear of God shall fall on the nations.
Glenn Blakeney:My people will be willing in the day of my power, says the Lord.
Glenn Blakeney:In the first wind that is upon you now, I shall blow out pride, lust, greed, competition and jealousy, and you will feel devastated.
Glenn Blakeney:But haven't you read, blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Glenn Blakeney:So out of your poverty of spirit, I will establish my kingdom.
Glenn Blakeney:Have you not read?
Glenn Blakeney:The kingdom of God is in the Holy Ghost.
Glenn Blakeney:So by my Spirit, my kingdom will be established and made manifest.
Glenn Blakeney:Then he continues and he says this.
Glenn Blakeney:Know this also.
Glenn Blakeney:There will be those who will seek to hide from this present wind.
Glenn Blakeney:They will try to flow in the second wind, but again they will be blown away by it.
Glenn Blakeney:Only those who've turned their faces into the first wind shall be allowed to be propelled by the second wind.
Glenn Blakeney:You've longed for revival and a return of the miraculous and supernatural.
Glenn Blakeney:You and your generation shall see it, but it shall only come by my process, says the Lord.
Glenn Blakeney:The church of this nation cannot contain my power in its present form, but as it turns to the wind of holiness unto the Lord, it shall be purged and changed to contain my glory.
Glenn Blakeney:This is the judgment that is begun in the house of God, but is not the end.
Glenn Blakeney:When the second wind has come and brought in my harvest, then the end shall come.
Glenn Blakeney: Something happened in July of: Glenn Blakeney:I was at a conference and I had, like, an open vision, and I want to share with you the open vision.
Glenn Blakeney:And because it really reminded me or triggered my remembrance of the prophecy that was given by David Minor, because I'd read it before many times, but honestly, it was probably like 15, 20 years the last time that I had read it.
Glenn Blakeney:So in July 23rd, I'm in this conference and worshiping God, and I see, like, this vision.
Glenn Blakeney:And it was like a hurricane or typhoon that had come through and, you know, just landed and incredible devastation.
Glenn Blakeney:Trees knocked down, debris everywhere.
Glenn Blakeney:It was just a terrible scene of wreckage.
Glenn Blakeney:And then I noticed that the landscape began to change.
Glenn Blakeney:The landscape began to become green.
Glenn Blakeney:There was like renewal and refreshing that was happening.
Glenn Blakeney:And then ultimately it was like the wind blew away all the debris.
Glenn Blakeney:It was just very clear to me.
Glenn Blakeney:It was like the Lord, he just said to me, look, there's coming a shaking, there's coming devastation, but there's going to be a purging and out of that, there's going to be renewal, there's going to be times of refreshing.
Glenn Blakeney:It's a powerful thing, and it's based on principles in the kingdom of God.
Glenn Blakeney:And I want to just point us to something the Apostle Paul said in second Timothy, chapter two, verse 20 and 21.
Glenn Blakeney:He's talking about vessels of honor and vessels of dishonor.
Glenn Blakeney:So he says this in a large house, there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also wood and clay.
Glenn Blakeney:Some are for special purposes and some are for common use.
Glenn Blakeney:Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master, and prepared to do any good work.
Glenn Blakeney:Now, listen, this is powerful because he's saying basically that there comes a place in our walk with God in, if we're not careful, that we actually are no longer useful to the Lord and we're no longer able to do the good works that he's called us and created us to do.
Glenn Blakeney:The Lord cleanses us in order to bring us back to that place where we're useful to him, we're effective to Him.
Glenn Blakeney:So it's kind of like the salt losing its savor, right?
Glenn Blakeney:It's no good.
Glenn Blakeney:He's doing this work right now in order to make us effective again.
Glenn Blakeney:And we can find ourselves in that place where we're not seeing God really do powerful things through the church anymore.
Glenn Blakeney:We're struggling even our own personal walk, which just seems that such a season of barrenness and unfruitfulness.
Glenn Blakeney:And understand that the Lord is actually calling us to go deeper, to lean into the wind, to put our face into the wind, because he's doing a work of cleansing and purification, and also a work of breathing His Spirit into us once again.
Glenn Blakeney:It's a powerful thing.
Glenn Blakeney:He's purifying his church to prepare vessels worthy of carrying his glory and accomplishing his purposes.
Glenn Blakeney:So again, this is his loving discipline.
Glenn Blakeney:Please understand that.
Glenn Blakeney:And I know it's particularly focusing on leadership, as shepherds are called, to model Christlike character first and foremost, as well as kingdom values.
Glenn Blakeney:So we need to prepare.
Glenn Blakeney:This season of purification serves as a preparation.
Glenn Blakeney:So let's surrender to Christ's lordship.
Glenn Blakeney:Let's have pure devotion to kingdom purposes.
Glenn Blakeney:What is it that he wants us to do?
Glenn Blakeney:Are we just pursuing our own thing and we're no longer of use to the King and his kingdom?
Glenn Blakeney:We need to actively pursue righteousness, faith, love, humility, all of those things, and then increase our capacity to carry his glory.
Glenn Blakeney:Powerful thing, guys.
Glenn Blakeney:God is doing something so profound in this season.
Glenn Blakeney:And this transformation is all about His Lordship coming under him as the head of the Church.
Glenn Blakeney:And as we embrace this purifying work, we position ourselves to participate and to partner with God in the greatest demonstration of kingdom power and authority the world has yet seen.
Glenn Blakeney:Far from being destructive, this is divine reconstruction, establishing a stronger, purer and more effective church, fully aligned with Jesus purposes and empowered for kingdom advancement.
